Hi CEC Readers! My name is Brittany and I blog about clean eating and fitness over at littlebshealthyhabits.com.
I’m your normal, everyday 24 year old with a boyfriend, and new puppy (ironically named Charley) and a job, trying to find where exactly it is I fit in. I’m currently a Marketing Coordinator and although I thank my lucky stars each day that I have a job, I know this is not where I am supposed to be. Over the past year I have developed a love for all things health and fitness related and have truly found my passion. Before I go, I’ll leave you with a recipe that I thought was perfect for CEC readers since it is vegan, gluten and lactose free, and well, just downright amazing! These no bake dough balls were inspired by this recipe but I made a few adjustments to make them even cleaner, so go ahead and eat as many as you’d like!
Clean No Bake Dough Balls
1/3 cup walnuts
1/3 cup almonds
1/3 cup gluten free oats
1/2 tsp cinnamon (Or more if you’re a cinna-holic like me)
1/8 tsp sea salt
1/4 cup sugar free maple syrup
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 packet Truvia
1. Place all ingredients in food processor and pulse until you have a dough-like consistency.
2. Using hands, roll dough into small balls (I got 6 out of this recipe but feel free to make a double batch if you want more). Warning: your hands will be sticky afterwards!
3. Place dough balls in refrigerator for an hour to harden before serving.
4. Hide them from your boyfriend so that they are not gone when you get home from work the next day. Story of my life!
