bittersweet oiaj

November 10, 2010

There are so many moments in life which are bittersweet. You look forward to the event for days, weeks, months, maybe even years.. and then the moment flashes by you. Before you know it, it’s gone. You have remorse. You feel guilt. You think to yourself, “I should have enjoyed that more.” or “I rushed through that too quickly.”

Anything come to mind?

Christmas? Your birthday? Your wedding day?

Not in this house.

The second I received this jar from NuttZo I was looking forward to and also dreading the day when Oats in a Jar would be on the menu.

Goodbye Nuttzo — goodbye OIAJ.

Until next time, I’ll miss you.

When we meet again, I will take more time to enjoy you. Next time will be different.

I feel like I just went through a bad break-up.

Question: What’s a bittersweet moment you’ve experienced in your life?

PS — Don’t forget to enter my Two Moms in the Raw Giveaway! It ends tomorrow (THURSDAY!!!) at midnight. Happy entering!

My bittersweet moment just happened - I finished my Luna Bar. I never want them to end so now I’m sad.. I should have bought two.. gluttony at it’s finest. ;)

I love my OIAJ too! I really can’t wait for my current jar of pb to be up but unfortunately there’s still many days to go.

You make me laugh so hard! Do you need me to send you some chocolate to help you get through the break-up?
My latest bittersweet moment would have to be today when my favorite hills broke….I guess I will just have to get new ones!

I love that last picture where the spoon is out of focus. How artsy of you! Is it weird that every breakfast is bittersweet for me?

Bitter (not sweet) moment…when your husband recycles your PB jar before you get to make OIAJ :(

My bittersweet moment is watching the season finale of a favorite TV series (aka The Next Food Network Star), or WORSE, the SERIES finale of a favorite TV series (aka 24). Luckily my other fav show Cake Boss is still on :) I actually just wrote about meeting Buddy on my blog…

Ahhh, NuttZo sounds sooo good! I’m dying to try it.
Reaching the bottom of any peanut butter jar is rather depressing, I can only imagine the feeling at the bottom of NuttZo!

I felt like graduating college was very bittersweet. I was excited to be done the schoolwork but sad that I was leaving all of my friends and fun times.

That is so true! I’ve been out for 2 years and still think that!

I’m going to agree with Jenny on this one. I love and hate the season (or series) finale of a great show.

NuttZo is primarily sold in stores on the west coast, however, anyone can buy it online at NuttZo’s website

This is making me excited to get to the end of my jar of soy nut butter! It will definitely be a bittersweet moment though because I can’t find that brand of soy nut butter anywhere in my college town! :(

OIAJ is so bittersweet, I agree. Confession: more than half the time I never get to OIAJ, because I clean out the jar with my spoon before I get a chance…

Graduating from high school/swimming was very bittersweet for me- especially since my brother was leaving for law school, too.

I’ve never tried OIAJ!

Yum OIAJ! It’s always sad to see a jar go bye bye. But the great thing is that you can open a new one up!

Don’t judge me-but I’ve never had OIAJ. I don’t love nut butter enough for that to interest me. I live in a world where nut butters are for sandwiches. Like PB&J’s.

My bittersweet moments are always with the seasons. We’re expecting our first snowfall on Saturday, and even though I was looking forward to fall I’m so not ready for the warm weather to officially be over!

Well, I’m not one to judge… but I totally am. :) just joking!

Ha, I eat about 99% of my food too fast and then always get sad when it’s gone! :)

Bittersweet moment-graduating college. I was so ready to get into the real world and get to working but now I wish I could go back and do it all over again.
