2:30 AM — Wake up, dripping in sweat. Get up, take temperature (normal), drink water, go back to sleep
4:25 AM — Alarm goes off way too soon, but surprisingly I’m pretty chipper. Roll out of bed and grab my workout clothes. Yell at Charlie to “stay” or else he will whine at the bedroom door for another hour before I take him out.
(What’s up really old picture?)
4:30 AM — Walk outside the door and notice a teenager stumbling down the street with a fifth of vodka in his hands. Immediately get creeped out, run to my car, and wonder where his parents are. Seriously — wasn’t last night Wednesday? And aren’t you going to school today?
4:40 AM — Hop on the treadmill at gym. Look around and notice how many other crazy people were there before me (8). Wonder if they think I’m crazy too. My immediate thinking says yes.
4:44 AM — It’s only been 4 minutes? Crap.
4:55 AM — UGGGHHHHH.
5:05 AM — Only 10 more minutes!
5:15 AM — Wipe off machine and the goofy grin that’s on my face because I’m done with the run. Get my stretch on. Note that I need to do some yoga in the next few days because I am way sore.
5:25 AM — Throw my towel into the bin and tell the receptionist to have a good day. Hop back in the car to make the 2 minute drive home. Notice it’s already 50 degrees outside.
5:30 AM — Take the spoiled boy (Charlie) out and hop in the shower. I’ve got it down to a 3 minute science. It may be bad for smooth silky legs, but great for my love for oatmeal.
5:35 AM — Let Charlie back in and feed him breakfast. Makeup and hair time.
5:45 AM — Realize I could probably look a lot better if I didn’t put so much time into making my breakfast and more time into my looks. Priorities people, priorities.
5:46 AM — Hightail my booty into the kitchen for some oatmeal making time. Flip the “brew” switch on for coffee. Love my sister for giving me her new tub of coffee.
5:55 AM — Take an extra stab at the peanut butter jar before I sit down for breakfast. Read blogs — the first one I read in the morning? This one. Seriously, every day. Take extra long to eat oatmeal (20-30 minutes to eat a bowl is normal right?)
6:25 AM — Wake Husband up
6:35 AM — Wake Husband up again
6:45 AM — Turn on the light and tell Husband to get up again.
6:50 — Get dressed, wondering why I never pick my outfit out the night before.
7:00 AM — Put on open toed shoes (!!!) and head out the door.
Question: What did you accomplish before 7 AM?
