WAKE UP! It’s Wednesday! This means two things. If you’re a working boy or girl, that means you only have two more days until the weekend. It also means it’s WIAW Wednesday!

Peas and Crayons

Today was weird. My appetite was all over the place, my stomach hated me, and nothing sounded delicious. Therefore, I ate what I wanted, when I wanted, and gave no regards to the time of day in which I ate them. If it tasted good, it went into my belly.

Breakfast — 7:00 AM

This bowl will never let me down. My usual overnight voluminous banana oats, topped with cinnamon, blueberries, a grilled banana muffin, and peanut butter.

Lunch — 11:45 AM

Lunch was a little hairy today. I really wanted an avocado. Bad — so when I was at the store running errands, I picked one up. I had a salad topped with 1/2 an avocado and salsa and a piece of gluten free bread with hummus and nutritional yeast.

And I also had some raisins and almonds.

And then I got sick. That’s the last time I don’t listen to my doctor who told me to not eat a lot of fats in the next few days since my gall bladder was “not happy” the other day. Your gall bladder helps your body digest fats, and if it’s not happy… well, it’s not so good.

Snack — 4:00 pm 

Despite my upset stomach, I was still hungry (really?) for a late snack this afternoon.

In the smoothie:

frozen banana
5-6 ice cubes
1/2 cup blueberries
1 cup almond milk
1 scoop chocolate Sun Warrior

That. Hit. The. Spot.

Dinner — 6:00 pm

Dinner was strange. Nothing sounded good. I settled on a sweet potato, sautéed mushrooms, and about 2 servings of Trader Joe’s lentils eaten right out of the fridge (no picture for my sake — it got ugly). After I was done with this, I ate baked lentil chips and hummus. So strange.

Snack — TBD

I’m thinking coconut milk ice cream tonight — just because it’s hot! :)

Ahhhhh Charlie is so cute! I love the first picture the most:) Your dinnah looks sooo good! Ketchup + shrooms + sweet potato = ohhhhhh yes. I like how us bloggers get more excited about food than about other things.

Haha I love Charlie. I also love catching a picture of my pooch doing something awkward… I can just hear her saying she’s gonna get me back by eating my socks. Sneaky bugger.

Best thing I ate today? A Coconut Bliss ice cream bar. Heaven in my mouth. Literally. I think I heard angels sing.

Hahaha, Charlie! That dog is so great. Feeling sick is no fun :( I went out to lunch with my mom and we got the exact same thing except she felt sick afterwards and I did not, thank goodness! Then again she’s usually sick because she’s lactose intolerant and refuses to give up dairy, silly woman. As usual, breakfast was my favorite meal. Overnight oats with crumb cake, granola and peanut butter will never get old.

best thing i ate today…a pasta salad I made yesterday for lunch today! pasta in a creamy-ish sauce made of cashews, white beans, roasted garlic and roasted red pepper spread.

My wrap at lunch, left over couscous, black beans, spinach, hummus, cucumber and avocado. Unfortunately it made my tummy very unhappy too and nothing has helped it all day.

I usually don’t cook the Husband a separate meal - I’ll mainly make him a meat dish to go along with whatever I”m having. But yesterday he worked late and so he ate leftovers - that was good because I did not feel like cooking! Yesterday for the sweet potato, I just poked holes in it with a knife and nuked it in the microwave for 5 minutes - it was too hot to turn the oven on!

i was just looking at the sun warrior protein in the store today- we finally got them in. the bag was MASSIVE! not sure if they are all large like that or if this was just the special jumbo size or something. im debating buying it because it is a bit pricey but i guess not so bad since i’d probably get a loooooottttt of smoothies out of it :)

Love the mushroom and sweet potato combo! My appetite was also wierd yesterday…I ended up eating peanut butter for dinner, because I was too lazy to cook and couldn’t get pb of my mind! :D

YAY for WIAW!! :D And haha I had the EXACT same avocado craving the other day so I went put specially to get some too! Love the green stuff :D

Best things I ate were Super Charge-Me cookie and a White Chocolate Wonderful Single Lady Cupcake…mmmm :)

P.S. I am in LOVE with Charlie!! He is so so so CUTE!! I want him!!!

I would find it SO hard to go a few days without eating lots of fats. Sorry your lunch left you feeling sick but I hope you feel better now!

Best thing I ate yesterday was overnight oats for breakfast. I never remember to make them at night, so they’re always a treat when I remember!

That looks like a perfect dinner! I love sweet potatoes… so filling.
This sounds so simple but sometimes my favorite thing to have is just a glass of almond milk. It’s so refreshing and satisfying to me!

Eek, if your gallbladder isn’t happy, coconut ice cream might not be too good! The best thing I ate yesterday was a variation of Chocolate-Covered Katie’s Blondie Batter dip… I made it into dark chocolate brownie batter dip… yummmm.

My favorite way is in the oven at 400 degrees for 45 minutes, but when I’m in a time crunch (or it’s hot outside) I’ll just nuke it in the microwave for 5 minutes.

No problem. Microwave + Foil = Bad. You could wrap it in foil in the oven, but it’s not necessary!
