Awww that’s so cute!
I just posted about a few things Skylar has said lately….the stuff kids say. It can either melt you or make you bust out into laughter
I loved that post about Skylar - especially the “keys” incident!
how adorable!! it sounds like your students know you pretty well!
That is the sweetest present ever!! You should probably frame it.
I have a basket filled with cute things kids have given me in the past - it’s going into it!
Aww, kidlets can be so sweet. I’ll never forget the mini-graduation party my students threw for me when I left college - I was picking the purple glitter “confetti” out of my hair for days on end
so stinkin’ cute! (purple glitter and all)
These are totally the types of gifts that make teaching so amazing!
I got a card today hoping that I would get puppies for Christmas, but I would need a female dog in order for that to happen since I only have a male dog. HA
that’s hilarious - did they add in the part about the female dog? I hope not! You teach little ones, right?
Oh yes the female dog was included! Second grade! It was written by one of the brightest boys in my class who was also thankful for oxygen on thanksgiving. Haha
How friggin rad is this?! OMG, I would cry every time I got something so cute and from the heart like this! I think the moral of this story is YOU are leaving an imprint on these kids lives and hearts!! Way to go, girl!
xxoo
Thanks, Kris. I do tear up ALL the time with those kids. It’s so funny.
That’s a pretty sweet card!
HOW SWEET! Thats gotta make teaching so worth while!
This is the reason I want to be a teacher. So cute!
AW! ….Days like that are the best! They make up for all the crazy days the amazing kiddos put us through. Love it!
That is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.
That is priceless.
So cute! I used to love to do these as a kid.
Very cute! Keep it for the days that teaching may not be so easy- it will remind you of why you love it.
It’s hanging up behind my desk.
And I keep forgetting to tell you Congrats! My mom said you guys wrote a contract!
awww cutest thing ever
Aw, too cute!
How sweet. I love the little things kids do that can just totally make your day!
“So Sweet! I used to love working at an elementary school for those “pick-me up’s” that no one else could come close to giving me
Frame It.
We should have a CEC fan acrostic challenge…but none of us could match the enormity of that. Still it would be cool.
You are truly an amazing person, Chels. I can tell. All the way though the tangled interweb.
I didn’t say you were cool, I said amazing!
Heehee *winkwink*
And you are good at talking.
How sweet!! I have a binder in my classroom titled “Teacher Love Notes” (stolen from Pintererst) and I put all of my cute little notes/pictures from my students in it. It really is something that can cheer you up when you are having a not-so-good day. I teach Kindergarten so my kids can’t write anything like an acrostic yet, but if they did it would DEFINITELY go in my binder
Great idea! I have a basket full of stuff, but I think I’m going to make a binder!
So sweet!! Mele Kalikimaka - Merry Christmas Chels:)
Was that in the Hawaiian language? If so, that’s awesome.
Awww!! That is so so so SO adorable!!
That is the cutest thing I’ve seen all week!
That has to be the cutest darn thing I’ve ever seen.
It’s true - one can never really be TOO good at talking.
It’s funny because I’m NOT that good at talking - I can talk forever, but I constantly forget what I’m going to say, forget the word I want to use, stumble over everything. I guess it’s just unconditional love.
Super cute
Things like this make me miss teaching. Such a cute gift from the heart!
This is absolutely adorable!!!!
I’m so glad I found your blog! And I’d love it if you’d check out my new blog!

Thanks Dani!
that is ADORABLE!!!!! such great perks to your job. that would make me smile all week
On my last day of student teaching, one of my seventh graders wrote me an acrostic as a good-bye gift. Seriously one of my most treasured possessions. =) Teaching is wonderful!
So sweet!
Nothing like the roller coaster that is teaching. I have a “smile file” that I keep in my filing cabinet with cute little things like that to pull out when I need a pick me up. Best gift I got this year was an “anonymous” (not so anonymous, as I can totally tell the handwriting, haha) that said “You are nice and understand us.” It’s the little things…
Ok “E” & “S” are ADORABLE!
I loved the last one too!
I teach 5th grade also (and actually have 21 in my homeroom this year too!). I organized a Secret Snowflake program, where I match the kids up with someone secretly, and they leave sticky note compliments, stickers, letters, and homemade treats for them. At one point, I said, “Doesn’t it feel good to get compliments? I should’ve given myself a Secret Snowflake.” I then came in on a Monday morning, and my desk was COVERED in sticky notes with compliments from all of the kids. It was one of the most surprising and sweetest moments in my teaching so far. Your letter reminded me of it…they can be so cute! Good luck getting to the holiday break! They are wild this time of year!
That is such a great idea!
Aww that is the sweetest thing ever! It makes me miss working with kids as a camp counsellor.
Priceless. What a special gift. I’m just writing out personal cards to my son’s preschool teachers, 4 of the most important people in his life right now.
That is precious, Chelsey. Talk about gratification! Definitely a day-maker.
Awww, that was really sweet!
That is so sweet!
aww that’s so sweet!
Oh my goodness, that is adorable. Especially the “I think we all know she is clumsy” part
