1. I forgot how much I hate being hot when I’m inside. I can deal with the hotness (and even like it!) when I am outside, but inside… eehhhh, that’s a different story. I don’t want to talk about my night’s sleep on Wednesday. The Husband and I were both tossing and turning about every hour. Not cool.
2. I’m going here for dinner tonight with one of my oldest friends! I’m pretty excited – not only do they have an awesome gluten free menu, but they are also a winery. I can taste it already.
3. I watched this new show last night – Missing. Uh, I’m obsessed. It’s pretty much amazing.
4. The ice cream truck is officially out – it’s March 16. I hate the creepy music.
5. The Husband refuses to let me turn on the air conditioning in the house regardless of the fact that it’s 80 degrees outside. I know him very well (obviously) and called him out on the fact that he is stubborn and won’t turn it on just because it’s March. I think that’s ridiculous. I think that because it’s 80 degrees we should turn it on regardless of what day it is on the calendar. Boys. They’re so silly.
6. I actually got a little sun burnt on Wednesday – true story.

We’ve had warm weather in Nebraska, but I’m fortunate to live in an apartment that tends to run cool. So, haven’t needed to even think about the AC. I watched Missing last night too. Definitely hooked!

Being hot while your trying to sleep is the WORST. Especially when your next to someone else who is hot and sweaty and cranky because they can’t sleep either. My husban and I have exchanged some nasty words when it’s 3 am and neither of us can sleep.

I’m the same way about being hot inside! Yesterday, while in the kitchen cooking, I got so warm and had a melt down because it was 76 degrees in my house. Yet, I don’t mind running when it’s 80 degrees and sunny.
I’m loving this warm weather in Michigan. Broke out my Spring/Summer shoe boxes and started wearing my sandals. Love!
I feel the same about sleeping when it’s hot inside. I’ve loved being able to open all the windows lately, but it never cools down fast enough at night inside. And I need to sleep with the covers up to my neck. I’ll put up with it for a little early summer though.

Ohh that dinner place looks awesome and that GF menu is amazing!! I love when restaurants have separate GF menus. My mom is GF so I’ll eat that way when I’m with her and the other day we went to a restaurant and inquired if they had a gluten-free menu and the woman goes “What?! Everything here has gluten.” Which of course was not the case because they had salads and plenty of other options but it’s just frustrating when restaurants aren’t educated about it! And I too want to see Titanic but no one else wants to see it with me!
I feel like a lot of people just don’t know what it means!

I’m okay with no air conditioning on at home since we can open the windows, but for the last few days of school, the AC was broke. And my room has no windows. And I was stuck in it with 24 fourteen-year-olds who had all been to gym class that day.
So we miiiight have gone outside several times. But it was okay because I made them play math games

80 degrees?!?! I am jealous! All we have is rain, rain and MORE rain this whole week! I am so the one in my marriage that does not like turning the AC on…I will throw open every window in the EARLY morning & freeze us out, just so we don’t have to turn the AC on!

Crap. Fun Facts Friday. Spring Break is almost over!!! No!!!! Ice cream truck songs drive me berserk. When I was little we didn’t have an ice cream truck in our neighborhood, but now (I still live in the same neighborhood) there is one and it’s super annoying and all they sell is fruity gross prepackaged bars.
