It’s quite possible my heart was stolen one year ago by a particular little lady that made her grand entrance into this world.
Aubrey Rae, where would our family be without you?
It seems like just yesterday I was sitting in my sister’s hospital room watching Aubrey’s birth. I can’t believe it’s been one full year since she has been in our lives. It has been so fun to watch Aubrey grow from a teeny tiny little baby into a sweet and quite boisterous one year old. She knows exactly what she wants, isn’t afraid to voice her (loud) opinion, and never fails to melt our hearts. She loves her mama more than anyone in the world (and nana is a close second), and thinks she can walk much better than she actually can. Her favorite toys are rocks (seriously.), and girl can rock out when you sing to her. This one is going to be a star someday.
Aubrey’s birthday was yesterday, and we all gathered together to celebrate this diva’s day. Thankfully, the little lady was in a pretty good mood, so it made for a fun afternoon. What cracked me up the most is the fact that Aubrey is so very particular about who can give her attention (for example, my brother is not even allowed to LOOK in her direction without her sending out a wail), but she loooooved us singing happy birthday to her. All attention on her? Aubrey approves.

Aw, my gosh I can’t believe she is 1!!! Weston (my nephew) turned 2 on Saturday. It’s truly amazing how fast they grow.
