1. Some lady turned me onto Thought Catalog — AND IT’S RUINING MY LIFE. Like seriously. Do I have time to read through like 30 blog posts a day from one site? Apparently I do. But not time to do anything else either. This is the worst. Thanks a lot Jess.
2. Last week, Ashley posted about my roasted potato, broccoli, and white bean soup. I’m sooooooooo glad because I had forgotten about it and how delicious it is. It was gone in two days. So sad.
3. Speaking of soup… last week I mentioned that my Lentil Stuffed Pepper Soup was in my top five favorite. Then I had someone else ask me what the other top four were. It’s a hard decision people… really hard. But I think I can do it. Loaded Cabbage Soup, Chickpea Noodle Soup, Slow Cooker Butternut Squash and Apple Soup (Alyssa’s favorite!!), aaaand Black Bean Pumpkin Soup. Just so you know, chili does not fit into the soup category. That’s a whooooooole other story!!!
4. This is my weekend.
Haha — actually not really. That should read “I decided not to do anything this weekend because I have a 7 page paper to write by Sunday night.” BAM!
5. My pastor showed this last weekend at church, and it is HILARIOUS. Please watch it. It has nothing to do with church, and everything to do with a cute dog.
6. I have to decorate a pumpkin for a raffle we’re doing at work to raise money for this outdoor classroom that’s being built. I’m a horrible carver. Like really bad. I’m thinking about doing something like this but painting the pumpkin white as well….
While I doubt it will look anything like that, I’m going to try. I’m just about the least crafty person I know. Laaani… will you help me on Last Sunday of the Month!?!?!?
7. I still haven’t heard from my Love Grown giveaway winner. Check to make sure it wasn’t you! If I don’t hear from them by the end of the weekend, I’m choosing a new winner!
8. One of my assignments for my class that was supposed to be due tonight is CANCELLED. Oh my gosh, that makes me so happy. (and no, not that huge paper)
9. Yesterday was 10/11/12. That made me happy. My sister and brother in law got married on 06/07/08, and we were really hoping that Aubrey would make her appearance on 09/10/11 (she didn’t). HOW COOL would that have been!?!?!
10. I’m feeling sushi for dinner. Whole Foods — because I’m cheap.
