Is it seriously Wednesday already? I feel like it was just a few days ago I was typing up my last WIAW post. I’m attempting to watch my Wednesday night line up while typing this, so it might not make much sense — The Middle is too good to pass up!

I don’t know about you guys, but I have been SO hungry this week. Like, scrounging through my desk after lunch and wishing for about five afternoon snacks instead of one. I’ve been running more than I have in the last oooh 10 months, so maybe that has something to do with it! I need to start learning to pack more food. I forgot how hungry running can make you!
And I am pretty sure I’m going to turn into a piece of chocolate — OBSESSED with anything chocolatey right now.
1/2 cup oats
1/2 banana
1 tbsp. chia seeds
1-1/2 cup liquid
1/4 cup egg whites
1 tbsp. chocolate sun warrior
1 tbsp. cocoa powder
peanut butter
coffee with coconut french vanilla creamer
loaded cabbage soup
udi’s gf roll with earth balance
black bean salsa
snack
almonds
kind bar
On the way home, I kind of had a ridiculous road rage experience. It was raining outside and I think people thought it was like blizzarding outside. It took me over an hour when it should have taken me 20 minutes from where I was at. Ugh. Seriously.

I had public transportation rage today on the “L” on my way home. I LOVE that I can take public transportation but about every 6-8 weeks everyone else on the “L” seems to partner together to be incredibly STUPID! People should learn how to control umbrellas!

Living in Oregon it is absolutely INSANE how people freak out when it rains. Every time it’s like it’s the very first time it’s ever happened. “What is this water substance coming forth from the sky? Is this the end of the world? I should go 10mph in a 55 because I am so confused!!!”
My sentiments exactly.
Adding a fruit to lunch or snack might help with the hunger — carbs + fibre = satisfied belly!!
I’m all about the chocolate right now, and candy corn, and I’m also feeling hungrier than usual. Oh, and after running practice tonight, I’m not moving except for more eats either! So essentially, I’m in agreement all around!

Seriously, I’m with you on the chocolate thing. I’ve gotten into the habit of eating a square (or 4) after lunch every day. I was never into it this much before though. Must mean I’m getting older.

Ugh I had a similar driving experience yesterday! The traffic in my city is horrendous at rush hour, so it took me like 30 minutes to get somewhere that usually takes me 10. Good thing I left early otherwise I would have been late!
Also I’m loving your dinner. Rice + beans + greens + hummus is one of my favourite lazy meals to make!
