new hair

omelet as big as my head
at Delia’s – with Katie!

why have i never thought to use the “reminders” in my phone for workouts?

5 miles… done! It was most definitely NOT easy though!

OIAJ lunch

We love that Charlie is a cuddler, but sometimes it gets a bit out of control. The Husband and I can’t even be within three feet of each other without him getting jealous and wanting to join the party. This is the three of us laying across the depth of the couch. Yeah, not comfortable – ha!

Sunday lunch.

Sunday Dinner.

Sunday night begging dog!

Other activities included:

- cleaning

- doing laundry

- cleaning out things like getting the crumbs out of my silverware drawers

- hand washing clothes (HATE!)

- taking naps

- not doing grad school work like I should

I’ve never used reminders on my phone! I should try that out… It was good to seeeee you! We’ll have to try and have one more date before I leave FOREVER. Okay, for four weeks.

Most definitely - and don’t leave me forever. And next time can we do froyo?

I love that you set reminders on your phone for workouts, but I love your little motivational push behind them. :) And Sammy does the exact same thing but he’s only 10 pounds so it’s a little more tolerable. Happy Monday love! See you soooonnn!!!

I didn’t do as much grad school work this weekend as I should have either. Why does it feel like whenever we have the most work, it’s the hardest time to motivate ourselves!?

I don’t knoooooow. It totally doesn’t help that my professor for this class is totally lax about everything. I can’t handle that! I love him, but give me some deadlines! :)

Danielle @ Clean Food Creative Fitness December 3, 2012 at 7:35 am

Using the reminders for workouts is genius! Going to have to give that a try!

Reply

Parita December 3, 2012 at 7:36 am

John’s face in that picture is priceless! And you just reminded me that I have a pile of clothes that need to be hand washed. UGH!!! I hate it too.

We had a lazy weekend full of drinking hot chocolate, and watching movies and football. My husband got a wisdom tooth pulled so we didn’t do much outdoors. I also made lots of soup!

Reply

cleaneatingchelsey December 3, 2012 at 8:08 pm

Making soup is never a bad thing!!

My dog behaves the same way as Charlie! Except he’s a pug, so it’s a little less… intrusive. :-)

Reply

cleaneatingchelsey December 3, 2012 at 8:09 pm

haha, yes! A 65 pound dog is absolutely intrusive. He’s lucky I love him! :)

Hannah @ CleanEatingVeggieGirl December 3, 2012 at 8:29 am

That dinner is look pretty amazing! I spot both sweet potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts…sounds like an amazing dinner to me! :)

My weekend was less than “fun.” It consisted of working, lots of grad school homework, cleaning, and prep for this coming busy week :( . I did, however, get to enjoy pizza and beers with my boyfriend last night so I guess I got a little relaxation in. It was much needed!

My name is Melissa, but my entire flaimy calls me Mel. I don’t think anyone called me anything but Mel until I was in my 20′s. I started using Melissa in my prof career and as I made more friends as an adult they call Melissa as well. When the group is mixed I answer to all of the names. Mel just was too masculine for me as I got older and I was afraid people would get confused if they saw my name on paper and then met me in person.

Omg, I have been avoiding for months hand washing this pile of hand-wash only shirts! Totally the worst! What soap do you use to clean them? Any tips on making it less terrible?

Also, Charlie is the cutest. Our kitty is the same way, but she’s a little less obtrusive. ; )

cleaneatingchelsey December 3, 2012 at 8:15 pm

I use Shaklee detergent so I just use that for my hand washing as well!

Rachel December 3, 2012 at 9:37 am

haha I use reminders for like everything haha I blame my OCD ;) and Charlie is adorable! lol my cat does the same thing lol

Amanda @ .running with spoons. December 3, 2012 at 9:38 am

Haha is that ketchup in the last pic with Charlie? If so then I’m seriously with him - ketchup needs to be it’s own food group, it’s just that good.

P.S. Your hair looks fantastic :D

Charlie’s so sweet! I love animals that are cuddlers.

I worked, shopped with my mom, went to a free concert with my parents, slept, church, another free concert with my dad, watched a movie with my dad. (Sunday was all about me and my dad, apparently).

My weekend was similar…I am a little jealous of those brussell spouts. I want them. I went to get some at the store yesterday and I didn’t like the price. They are on my ‘get in the near future’ list. I don’t know why I’ve been craving them…but they have been popping up on so many blogs latley lol

Haha, I’ve seen that look in my dog’s eyes before. Mostly when she’s eyeing the cheese… Great hair btw, and congrats on the killer run!

OIAJ for lunch is always okay in my book, and I”m so jealous of your Sunday dinner. I haven’t been able to find brussels sprouts in my market lately and I’ve had major cravings! Congrats on the five miles! I’ve just started running and managed to go about 3.5 miles - thought I was going to die, but somehow I made it through. It’s such a great feeling!

Anna @ The Guiltless Life December 3, 2012 at 2:55 pm

Ah your pup is too cute. And that omelet is seriously huge. Thanks for the tip on using the Reminders app for workouts; that’s not a bad idea!

Nice hair!

This weekend I had a movie night with friends (we watched What to Expect When You’re Expecting - loved it!), got my car’s turn signal fixed, did some Christmas shopping, and went for sushi with my old roommate!
