fun facts friday

January 18, 2013

1. Oh my gosh. Was this the longest week ever for everyone else too? Every day we thought it was Friday. Yikes. Now I can truthfully say TGIF.

2. I spent my night last night watching episodes of How I Met Your Mother in bed until my eyes couldn’t open any longer. It was the best.

3. I actually cooked dinner this week and last week. Like enough so that we have leftovers in our fridge right now. I can’t tell you the last time that has happened. We’ve got chili and pasta galore over here!

4. The husband and I want to go see a movie tonight – any suggestions? I’ve heard Silver Linings Playbook is really good. Anyone seen it?

5. Guess who’s finally back in town? I’m pretty pumped – I get to go to brunch with two of my favorite ladies tomorrow, Lauren and Kathleen (plus baby Jack)!!

6. I saw this on Ashley’s blog and thought it was hilarious. Great mind think alike? Apparently we both have problems.

7. I wish I were joking, but that’s all I’ve got for you today. My mind is blank!!!

8. Happy Friday everyone!

You are SO right. This has been the longest week ever. All day yesterday I was thinking that it was Friday….so disappointing. I am sure that it doesn’t help that my mom is visiting me this weekend so I have been extra excited and eager for the weekend to get here!

#6 is absolutely hilarious and SO true. And no, I do not even feel bad saying that I think those thoughts in my head when I am shopping! ;)

I saw Silver Linings playbook and LOVED it. It’s funny and serious, and has a really good message. And Robert DeNiro’s character is just about the funniest thing ever. I definitely recommend it!!

Heck, this whole month has been long… Can you tell I’m not a fan of January like, AT ALL?! Haha. And yes, great minds do think alike. We would be crazy together in a busy grocery store - yikes. Happy Friday! :)

I saw Silver Lining Playbook- I thought it was good. A good date movie. However, my friend who read the book was disappointed (but isn’t that true for most books that become movies?).

Have a great weekend!

This week was definitely long. I blame the lack of sun and cranky stank weather. Happy Friday, girl!

It has been a LONG week! This time of year the weeks can drag, I was so with you on the thinking it was Friday on numerous occasions! Have you seen This is 40? We don’t have it hear yet in Ireland but it looks hilarious, I’m a big Paul Rudd fan!

the silver linings playbook is AMAZING!!!!!! I loved every single second of it and cried tears of happiness at the end (I was also pre menstrual) sorry for TMI. But seriously its my new favorite movie, I left the movie and turned to my boyfriend and said I want to go see it again!

One of my biggest pet peeves in life is that when I am at the grocery store and paying at the checkout and the person behind me rams into my ankles. Sure I am blocking the checkout aisle, but I’m still paying! It’s not like bumping me out of the way will make the cashier scan my goods any faster.

I used to be obsessed with HIMYM a couple years ago, and I decided to watch a couple of old school episodes on TV last night. Loved it. :) Happy Friday!

Do you know how I know we are the best of friends? Because I spent Tuesday night watching 7 straight episodes of HIMYM until I could no longer keep my eyes open. You and me girl….one in the same! ;)

Can’t wait to see you tomorrow!

GO SEE Silver Linings Playbook. I haven’t been to the movies in years, and this one drew me in. Totally worth it. Given my personal life circumstances over the last couple of years it was down right cathartic in some ways. People go through crappy stuff but still come out ok.

And yes, this was the looooooongest week ever. I said that on Tuesday of this week.

Such a long week! Silver Linings Playbook is really good! Everyone keeps saying Life of Pi is awesome too! Love the pin, so true! Have an awesome weekend!

Sky Fall was freaking amazing, but I really want to see The Silver Linings Playbook. It’s getting all kinds of awards buzz (I hated typing that) and I am the kind of douche that is semi-reliant on reviews and critical acclaim. Oh man, last Spring I watched all seven seasons of How I Met Your Mother in like a month. Thank you Netflix and a bad break-up.

I haven’t ever hit someone’s cart in a store, but I have moved carts out of the way and had people angrily scoff at me. I’m sorry, but this girl needs food. Move. Now. Please?

I saw someone recommended Life of Pi. I loved the book but didn’t like the movie at all, I was bummed. Leftovers is the best! I made a huge stir-fry last night and was looking forward to the leftovers until i realized how much my boyfriend and two of his friends can eat.

Go see This is 40!
Hysterical
Hysterical
Laugh out loud, pee your pants - really great!
Silver Linings Playbook is a great movie, slow at times, really depicts mental illness, it’s a good movie, but a great laugh is This is 40!
Hmmm. Wonder what you’ll do…
