1. This is one of those weeks where I can’t believe it’s Friday already. Granted, I woke up almost every morning (including Monday) thinking it was Friday. So today, I can surely say – TGIF!
2. You know what I love? Going out for gluten free pizza. I convinced the Husband to go our for pizza last night, and it was delicious. The best part about the gluten free pizza is it only comes in one size and no one but me eats it. That means leftovers for me!
3. I have been dying laughing watching this video multiple times the past few days. The Husband and I get a crack out of these particular pranks. Although I would not be a good sport if he ever tried anything like this with me.
4. Did anyone celebrate PI day yesterday? WE DID!!! All day. Seriously – the entire day. We played math games, did logic puzzles, did a writing activity about Einstein (it was also his birthday), and ate apple pie. It was honestly one of the best days ever.
5. I’m kind of upset that Google Reader is going away this summer. Not because there’s no other ways to follow blogs (there is!), but because I cherish my Reader “Next” button so much. I’m going to be a wreck when it happens.
6. Speaking of which, you might want to switch over your blog following (ummm including mine) to Feedly or Blog Lovin’… pronto. Don’t wait!
7. You know what’s an awesome excuse to not have to do the dishes? “We have no more sponges”. That actually happened to us Wednesday night, and I didn’t have to do the dishes until last night. Perfect.
8. You guys. I finished The Storyteller. And I cried almost every single night I read it. It was an amazingly moving and wonderfully written. I almost want to read it over again. I’m weirdly fascinated by the Holocaust and WWII, so it was right up my alley. Picoult is a genius writer.
9. It is the weekend – oh my gosh. Happy Friday! I will see you bright and early Monday morning – that’s a promise!

I’ll have to check out The Storyteller. I’m always up for a new read. Right now I’m reading The Fault in our Stars and I really like it.
Just made the Feedly switch and I like it a lot. Althought not having the next button is a big bummer! Love mine too!
I’ve heard there’s some sort of way to have a next button on Feedly? I have to figure this out.
I have GOT to start switching things over from Google. My laziness is really getting in the way.
haha - it took me like seriously one minute to switch to feedly. I promise.
All day yesterday I kept thinking that it should be Friday. Unfortunately it has been one of those weeks that has kind of drug a long for me
.
Leftover pizza is the best! I actually love eating the leftovers cold, too
. Are you one of those people?
Happy Almost Weekend
!
I am so a cold pizza eater. And a cold pasta eater. Bascially a cold anything eater.
The one with the semi truck is the greatest thing ever. Haha. And the one where they load the sleeping guys hands up with that TV and stuff his face with a banana. Lol. So funny!
Yayyyyy @ gluten free pizza!
confession - i’ve never used Reader. I always just bookmark sites and go to them everyday (yours is one, of course).
That’s too funny - I used to do that, but then it just got out of control (and I wanted to read on my phone, etc.)
I finished the StoryTeller yesterday too! Wonderful book. I adore Jodi Picoult!
Happy Friday indeed!
That’s kind of the best excuse to not do the dishes I’ve ever heard. Next time I really don’t want to do them, I might just have to hide the sponges…
haha it was fabulous!
I love Jodi Picoult! I cry every time I read one of her books!
This one made me cry more than any other book she’s written!!
I’m so bummed about Google Reader. Looks like I’ll have to become familiar with Blog Lovin’. Happy weekend!
TGIF!! I actually don’t use google reader… I just favorite my favorite blogs and check them daily
You’re the second person to say that!!
I am so sad about google reader!! I think I will make the switch to feedly today before I forget about it and get screwed come July!
It took literally one minute!
I’m definitely going to miss Google Reader too. But Feedly has a “next” button too!
Tell me more. How do you get it!??!
I am SO bummed about Google Reader! I am going to start trying out some new ones so I can adjust by the time it goes away
Happy Friday girl!! Hope it’s a good one
Those wakeup pranks.. omifreakingod I’m dying here. Thank you for that perfect start to my Friday
hahaha you’re welcome - we love those kinds of videos around here.
Ok, my office mate and I just watched that video and laughed so hard I almost peed. BAHAHAHA
lol - I’ve watched it MULTIPLE times, and it never gets old.
I’m totally sad about Google Reader. Whyyyy are they doing this to me?!
I’m so jealous that you celebrated Pi Day. The only year I ever celebrated was my freshman year of high school in geometry class. Good times!
I don’t think we ever celebrated it in school. My kids are lucky they have an awesome teacher.
Your day yesterday sounds awesome…I need one of those days! Happy Friday!
Ugh, I am going to miss Google Reader too! So sad
Happy Friday!
I’m really bummed about the Google Reader thing, too. Not cool!
Love this! My students and I definitely celebrated Pi Day… you can’t ignore it when you’re a teacher!
That’s my motto!
I love how you celebrated Pi day! Especially the apple pie part.
I’ve always just read blogs from my Blogger dashboard. But I’m hoping to switch over to Wordpress and my own domain (finally!) so I guess I’ll have to start using Bloglovin’ or Feedly!
I highly encourage you to finally switch over. Mainly because I can never comment on your blog without trouble!!!
I’ll have to check out The Storyteller, I love Jodi Picoult.
I feel so out of it since I don’t use Google Reader. I check on the few blogs I read by just typing in the first one or two letters of their blog name into my browser. It auto-fills in the rest and I’m good!
I ordered Domino’s gluten-free pizza for the first time the other night and it was so good - I was really surprised!
I had no idea Domino’s had GF pizza. Good to know!
RIP Google Reader. So sad. I’m using Feedly! I like it so much more than bloglovin.
Oh shoot I just saw The Storyteller on sale for about 40% off but didn’t know if I should bother getting it because I wasn’t sure how good it would be, then I read this! ah well.
Thanks for the advice on Blog Lovin’, I’ve been meaning to do that so I will now!
Have you read Unbroken? I think you would really like it - it’s a true story about a POW during WWII over in Japan. I read it last fall and loved it! (It’s a very powerful story - a little grim and gruesome at times but such was that era).
