scenes from the weekend & a request

April 1, 2013

And just like that, spring break is over. Why is it that weeks that you have off go by so much quicker than the ones you have to work? Oh well – these next few weeks are going to FLY by. I love the end of the school year, that’s for sure!

spaghetti dinner – which has been eaten about three times in the last week

beautiful day in the city for a walk along the lake!

so happy i was able to babysit this peanut on friday – she cracks me up!

peanut butter is back!!!!! I’m so glad that phase is over.

the ever growing belly

first dinner we ate at the table in WEEKS! whenever i’m tired or don’t feel good, we’re couch eaters.

And now a request if you don’t mind…

As some of you probably already know, my beautiful friend Ashley gave birth to a handsome little boy, Hunter, early Friday morning. I don’t want to give too many details because Ashley did that yesterday, but Hunter has had a rough go at it so far. He started off in one NICU and had to be transferred to another hospital’s NICU on Saturday for better care. His heart problems are giving his parents quite the scare, but fortunately, he seems to be making small improvements. If you could keep Ashley, Cody, and baby Hunter in your thoughts and prayers in the next few days during this critical time, it would mean the world for them. The more prayers, the better!

She didn’t share anything on her blog until last night, so you haven’t been out of it! I’ve just been in touch with her constantly since Friday, otherwise I’d be out of the loop too!

Many prayers and good thoughts for Ashley, Hunter and their whole family.

To be honest, my husband and I have a kitchen table and I can count on one hand the amount of times we’ve ever eaten a meal at it instead of our coffee table… And we’ve had one for at least five years… ha!

I want more belly pics!! ;) And of course, I’m praying lots for baby Hunter. It hurts my heart that they are going through this, but I am trusting that the Lord has Hunter in the palm of His hand!
