Weekends tend to go by way too fast. I’m looking forward to when all of my days are (temporarily) weekends. Bring on the summer!
Total pregnancy craving from the other night. I do realize this blog is far from a “clean eating” blog lately. Meh. I’m okay with it. I HAD to have soft serve ice cream the other day – it tasted so so good. It did not end well. My stomach hurt ridiculously bad after it!
How Charlie got mud on our pillow sham (that is dry clean only – ugh.) is beyond me. He’s lucky he’s cute!
The hard boiled egg obsession continues. Although, I bought a bag of the pre-peeled ones and they are already gone. The expense does not outweigh the convenience. Back to the boiling method!
Cannot. Handle. The. Cuteness. Seriously!!! All I could picture was dressing our girls up in these little dresses to go off to church after they’re born. Aaaah – adorable!
Lunch with my mama yesterday during our shopping adventure – we went to Buona Beef, which is easily one of my favorite “quick” meal locations. Don’t be deceived either, I ate fries as well.
Finally got my hands on these Chobani Flips! They were on sale at my Target this weekend for $1.00 apiece, so I picked up a few. The only thing I didn’t like was that the yogurt seemed to be less thick and almost watery. The flavors were spot on though!
Another obsession as of late – refried beans and sour cream (my head and stomach hate me from all this dairy lately, don’t be fooled!).
I’m excited to share my twin update tomorrow – exciting things happened over the weekend!
Question: What was the best part of your weekend?

Omg those dresses are too cute! And all your food actually looks kinda great :p
The dresses are so precious!
I can relate, only 4 more weeks of school until summer break!
Ahh cutest dresses!! And when I first read it I thought you wrote my husband and stomach hate me from all of the dairy haha. Sounds about right to me..pregnancy can do weird things to your stomach that husband’s might not appreciate
those outfits are ridiculously adorable!!! best part of my weekend was probably the cardinals game yesterday with my hubs and in-laws. would have been cooler if they won, but it was super nice outside so that was fun!
The dresses are adorable!!! I can’t wait to see those little girls all dressed up!!! Have you guys been thinking of names? Or plan on waiting until you see them?
I can’t handle the cuteness of baby clothes either. I look at some outfits and imagine dressing up kids that aren’t even close to being on the radar yet. Why do they have to make them so cute?!
those outfits are adorable! It’s my dream to have twin girls, so i’m going to be living vicariously through you right now
Baby clothes are just so adorable because they are SO tiny. Little baby socks are beyond cute.
Love the outfits!
I craved hard boiled eggs during my second trimester, but my 2 biggest cravings were pb & honey sandwiches & chili cheese nachos.
As someone with lactose intolerance, I feel your pain. I do my best to avoid dairy but sometimes you just neeeeed the real thing.
Those dresses are so cute! I cannot handle baby girl clothes, I like them more than my own! Lol
Baby clothes -> so cute. I always stop in the baby section at Target to ohh and ahh at the teeny little clothes. The itty bitty little socks and miniature little shoes just kill me.
Those dresses are adorable! I’m eager for more of my friends to have babies solely so I can buy them cute baby clothes. Cannot even handle that level of adorable-ness.
So glad you had a wonderful weekend!! I can not wait to see you again soon!!!!!
My favorite part of the weekend was watching Mad Men last night. It was such a good episode!
Omg I NEED to go to Buona Beef. With you, obviously. Date this weekend?
I finally found the Chobani flips too! I liked them, something different! My hubs and I took our dog on two hikes. It was great just to get out together and enjoy the weather.
Ahhh! I stopped reading your blog a few months ago (or any blog for that matter- they were just taking too much time) and now I pop back on to find you pregnant with twins! SO EXCITING!
And by the way, your blog has always been one of my favorites, and it has affected a lot of things I do- using ova ova, having nut butter on overnight oats, the way I make salads, wanting to try chipotle when we finally got one near me, and also I have made your vegetarian chili several times. And more I’m sure. Hopefully I can find the time to get back here more regularly.
Again, CONGRATS!
Those dresses are adorable! I see little pigtails, a yellow cardi, and cute white sandles with flowers!
If you had not found out yet that you were having girls, I swear this would have definitely confirmed it! I wanted dairy in pregnancy too. I would go to my mom’s house and smell her cream cheese to get ‘my fix.’ How weird am I?! And I was ALL over the baked potatoes with coconut sour cream. Was the bomb diggity! Your weekend looked like a good one. My fav part was getting some goooood studying done. I have my LAST exam tomorrow. Cannot wait to be done school for 4 months!
Lunch with mom sounds and looks great!
I so had a blizzard this weekend too. And so bought up some Chobani flips (agree the yogurt is more watery but they taste so dang good…especially the coconut one!). Too bad we didn’t get to do those things together!
How cute are the little dresses. I too love to dress my daughter. My weekend was fabulous as I finally got to clean my home and met with friends and spent a whole day with them catching up.
I haven’t had refried beans in so long but now I am kind of craving them. Also loooove the baby clothes I can’t wait til I have babies (need to find me a hubby first). Can’t wait to hear the news about the twins!
Lots of yummy food! I looove DQ Blizzards… It’s a good thing we don’t have a ton of DQs around us otherwise it could be a problem.
Those little dresses are absolutely adorable! I went into Carter’s yesterday, and I about died when I saw all of the cute little girls’ clothes and dresses for spring.
Adding one teaspoon of baking soda to the pot of water & then placing the eggs in ice cold water for a few minutes after boiling them will make your eggs peel so much easier!
Such cute dresses! And DQ is so awesome, I love a Hawaiian blizzard every once in a while.
Ooh totally intrigued about the update!!!
I was working all weekend so today was a semi day off. Matching outfits on twins are SO cute!!!
gaaaah, matching baby girl dresses! I’m dying of cute. And I want twins, now.
Best part of my weekend was getting to see my family! <3 Happy monday, mama.
hahah! Just pop out another one and dress A and that one alike!
Oooooh those dresses ARE so cute!
i’m doing my pregnancy update tomorrow too. woo! (You’re due exactly 2 weeks before me. cool, ehh??)
I love it! And I love that all the pregnant bloggers are doing their updates on Tuesdays. LOL!
Oh, and I love those dresses because I can totally put them in tights and a long sleeved cardigan when it gets chilly outside - love it!
Aw, the dresses are SO cute!!! Having girls will be so much fun!
Those dresses are adorable! Dressing your girls is going to be so much fun!
I think one of the things I hate most about my allergies is not being able to have DQ Blizzards… they sound so good! I have to get my fix from McFlurries, which I love, but other people say they’re not as good.
I totally just had sour cream, refried beans and lettuce too! And a nice side of fries. Dang it, why can’t I blame this obsession on pregnancy!
Those dresses are super cute! Aw, so exciting.
Oh my goodness — those dresses! Too cute!!
