june stitch fix

June 19, 2014

About a week ago, I received my third Stitch Fix! If you aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix, please go back and read my original post. I explain all about the service and what it exactly entails!

Here’s what I got in my box this month! (please excuse my dirty mirror)

Market and Spruce
Colibri Absstract Print Sleeveless Blouse
$48

June 16, 2014 110
Love this tank! It is lightweight, loose fitting, and the design is so much fun. I have already worn it a few times, including the Rascal Flatts concert I went to over the weekend. KEPT

Pink Martini
Rebecca Front Pocket Tank
$48

June 16, 2014 112
I was not a fan of this at all. The cut was boxy, it was on the short side, and I felt it did not flatter me at all. RETURNED

(sidenote: you are so lucky I cropped my face out of that picture. I looked so so creepy. Ask Courtney!)

41Hawthorn
Maddison Geo Print Belted Shirt Dress
$78

June 16, 2014 116
I really really liked this dress. The print was a lot of fun, the length was great for work/church/date nights, and it fit really well. I just did not think I would get a lot of wear out of it, so I couldn’t justify the purchase. RETURNED

Gilli
Delia Braided Waist Maxi Dress
$84

June 16, 2014 119
This dress was just okay. I love maxi dresses, but this one was a little short on me (I am 5’8”) and the braided waist made me look wide in the hips. I also felt it was way too expensive. RETURNED

Bay to Baubles
Jazz Gem & Chain Statement Necklace
$38

June 16, 2014 121
I’m not really big into big statement jewelry This also sat weirdly on my chest, and I wasn’t a fan. RETURNED

Overall I only kept one item from this fix. I feel like it’s worth it even if I only get one item because then the styling fee is taken off of my order. Pus, getting a fix is like Christmas. I look forward to it all month, and I squeal when I see it’s outside my door (seriously). I am signed up for monthly fixes at this point, so I am excited to see what they sent me in July! I told them to “surprise me” next month instead of asking for specific pieces. We’ll see what I get!

ps: all links to stitch fix are referral links. what that means is that if you ordered a fix under my referral link, i will get credit to go towards my clothing items. but you can too! once you sign up, everyone who signs up under your link will give YOU credit!

LOVE Stitch Fix! You’re right, definitely like Christmas getting that package on your door! I’ve gotten three and typically only keep one item but agree. It’s worth it!

Look at you, sexy lady! Haha. They also sent me that geoprint dress, which I returned. I kind of felt like I was wearing a nightgown? And it was not at all flattering on me. SEE YOU SUNDAY!

At least you kept one thing!! I’d be afraid I’d love it all and then I wouldn’t be able to afford to keep it all!

You are the cutest. I think you pull everything off pretty great if I do say so myself. ;) Except yeah, maybe that boxy tank is a little TOO boxy and short. Everything else I liked though. I have several of those botton down flowy tanks like the one you chose to keep. I wear them ALL the time. I love that you can dress them up or down, they’re nice and cool, and they’re flowy and cute.

Whhyyy thank you! And yes, I love the tops like that too. They’re the best!

I love the top you kept! I liked the maxi dress too, but I’m 5’10″ and I totally understand the length issue. Ugh. Getting a fix is totally like Christmas…you don’t know what you’re getting and you anxiously await the arrival! Or, I guess it’s like having a baby without knowing the gender? ;-)

hahahah! Yes! Stitch Fix is just like having a baby. That was a hilarious comparison!

I just started stitch fix as well and it IS like Christmas. What’s more exciting than getting a box of clothes in the mail?! Nothing! :)
