1. I definitely want to thank everyone for sticking around while I blogged on and off throughout the past year. It means a lot to me that a bunch of you are still reading!!
2. Let’s talk about how today is the WORST day for Halloween ever. 43 degrees, windy, and rainy. Yuck! I sure hope we will be able to do a little bit of trick or treating for the girls.
3. Let’s face it, the trick or treating this year is solely for me, not them. Kind of for the candy, but mostly so I can document their cute little selves in their Halloween costumes!
4. Can we just talk about this post that Brittany wrote yesterday about sponsored posts? I love it! Sponsored posts are a love/hate relationship for most readers (and sometimes even bloggers!), and I think she did a wonderful job explaining her take on them. Back when I was blogging more regularly, I had the same outlook (and still do).
5. I have to be getting old - I had to look up what the slang word "basic" meant. I’ve been hearing it around with NO idea what it meant. Apparently it is "an adjective used to describe any person, place, activity involving obscenely obvious behavior, dress, or action. Unsophisticated" (Definition from Urban Dictionary).
6. We have our LAST wedding of the season tomorrow night. This year was a busy one. We had six or seven to go do over the course of the summer!
7. I need jeans so so badly. I never know where to get them from either. I have this problem though. I have no behind and wider hips. It doesn’t make for an easy shopping trip. Anyone else with the same problem who has awesome jeans?
8. I need a vacation - somewhere warm with a beach would be great.
9. I got a massage the other day, and I am literally needing a massage from my massage. I was so messed up - I typically go in at least once a month, but it had been almost two. Yikes - My shoulders are hating me!
10. Emerson wasn’t too sure about her new hat she got yesterday. I for one think it’s adorable – she was not a fan of it!
