Fun Facts Friday

January 23, 2015

1. I have something FUN to share with you next week. Ever hear of DietBet? I’ll share more information on Monday, but get ready to play a fun game! I participated in a game last year with my gal pal Courtney, and I’m excited to start one of my own. Details to come!

2. Did this week seem to drag and drag for you? I feel like that always happens on weeks where there are only 4 work days. Woohoo for the weekend!

3. I totally dropped the ball yesterday and forgot to put dinner in the crock pot before I left for work. I hate when that happens!

4. Is anyone else counting down the days/minutes/seconds until Scandal comes back on? I’ve been going crazy since it’s been on last. That show has to be my all time favorite. If you haven’t watched it ever, you need to jump on that bandwagon.

5. I’m starting to really dislike this whole winter thing. I’m actually one of the crazy people out there that doesn’t particularly mind winter, but with kids…. I’m going stir crazy. It is so much more trouble than what it’s worth to go out and run errands. Not to mention, I so miss our afternoon walks when I get home from school. Only 3 more months to go.

6. With all the reading I have been doing lately, I am going to need to do a recently read post every week rather than every month. I’m on a roll! In the last week, I have finished Little Big Lies, Orphan Train, and What She Left Behind. All were great!

7. Old Navy is having a 20% off sale right now online, and they have THE CUTEST toddler clothes. This, this, this, this, and this are all going into my cart for some quick springtime clothes for the girls. Adorable!

8. Last night Brooklyn learned how to say “what!”. However, when she says it, it’s preceded by a bunch of jibberish as if she is gearing up to say real words. Then when the “what” comes out of her mouth, it’s long, drawn out, and has the best intonation. I need to figure out how to upload the video we took. It’s hysterical.

9. Allright – it’s the weekend. Happy Friday!!!

I hate it when I forget about the crock pot or don’t defrost meat! Very annoying. Old Navy can have some very cute stuff if you look for it. That’s awesome you are doing so much great reading - happy Friday!

I am definitely counting down to Scandal! I can’t wait for that and How to Get Away With Murder! I forgot to put our dinner in the crockpot on Tuesday. I had to hurry and find a new dinner when I got home from work. This week has totally dragged! We had in service Monday and Tuesday but I feel like those were a month ago! Crazy how the shorter weeks drag forever.

YES to #4!!! I actually thought it was back on last night and was suuuuper disappointed when I discovered it wasn’t.

You need to pack up your girls and come visit me in AZ until winter leaves Chicago. Yup, perfect plan. ;)

Haha, I LOVE when kids start learning fun new words. They always have the best emotions and facial expressions behind them! Especially when they get some attitude!

Also, I’m totally with you on the warm weather thing. I took my pup for a walk yesterday, and could hardly feel my fingers after 10 minutes! Not cool!

I have been counting down for spring all January! I can’t wait until I can take my kids to the park. Getting two kids out the door is crazy, I usually end up feeling as though I just worked out getting both of them ready and in the car!

haha - that was my life today. We’re trying to get rid of the morning nap, so we ran errands during their usual nap time. Getting out the door was hard - I’m out of practice!

I could do without winter, it is just too limiting. I enjoy reading your blog, it is exciting to read healthy recipes that everyone can enjoy. We enjoy having everyone take part in meal preparation and this site is awesome for that. Have a lovely weekend.
