1. Thanks for all your well wishes about Emerson yesterday. It is seriously crazy how resilient kids are. She was back to her old self by Wednesday afternoon after a good long nap. Her stitches come out on Monday - hopefully she will leave them alone until then! It probably doesn’t help that John kept asking her where she was hurt and then she would put her hands on her head and say "ed, ed".
2. I am so looking forward to this weekend. Why? We have NOTHING planned. After a really busy weekend last weekend and the week that we had, we need it. I’m looking forward to catching up on some things around the house and getting myself organized and ready for next week. Okay, so we have one thing planned – brunch tomorrow morning!
3. Somehow it’s going to be March on Sunday. While I’m so glad that the end of winter is in sight, I know that it isn’t over yet. I always think of March as being warmer, and I totally disappoint myself every time I think this. March’s highs are typically in the 30-40′s… not so much the nice spring weather I am envisioning!
4. I have totally winged it as far as dinner have gone this week. Sometimes I need a break from meal planning, and I sort of enjoyed eating through some of the freezer as well as deciding the day of what we were going to eat. I can’t do that every week though - I like the "no guess work" way of knowing what we’re going to eat every night!
5. Did this week go by incredibly fast for anyone else? I have an institute day today, and I completely forgot yesterday that I wouldn’t be seeing my students today! It has been a weird week!
6. I’m sure that by now you’ve seen “The Dress”. What color do you all see? At first it was gold and white for me (for a few hours) and then I randomly went to go look at it again and it was blue and black. FREEEEEAAAAKY!
7. My DietBet that I started this month is over on Tuesday! I can’t believe the month is almost over. I definitely made some progress… not sure if I’m going to meet my goal, but we’ll see!

I had the same thing happen to me with the dress! When I first saw it it was white and gold and over time it changed to blue and black, ridiculous!!
Based on that picture of “The Dress,” it looks blue and brown to me. What I find hilarious is how quickly it took over the internet. It’s all I’ve seen on the news since about 9 last night.

It has been changing between blue & black /white & gold ALL the time for me- like within minutes. It’s insane. I have a copy of it in my photos on my phone and that one keeps changing too. It is freaking me out!!!!
Hahaha THAT DRESS! I swear, Scott and I had a 10 minute debate about it last night. I totally see gold and white, 100%. He legitimately thought I was messing with him and probably still does. So weird! Enjoy your low-key weekend

That dress thing is hilarious! I immediately saw a really light blue and a tannish/brown, but under no circumstances could it be AS blue and black as they now claim! How do you wash something out that bad in a photo???

These week seemed to drag by for me. Boo! I wish it’d flown by, it was quiiiite the exhausting week. I’m looking forward to a restful weekend, too! Bring on March and the (hopefully) warmer weather!
LOL I was at a bar for the first time… Oh yeah, ever. And a girl asked me what color the dress was and I walked away thinking, “does she really think I’m drunk or something”? And then the next day I realized the big controversy. And here I thought she was just trying to make fun of me when I was sober! Oopsies!
