top 10 workout songs

January 30, 2012

I feel like I go through phases with using music when working out. There are days when the thought of listening to music while exercising makes doesn’t appeal to me. However, on a lot of days I need something extra to help me through my workout.

When I listen to music, I need something upbeat and fast to get me going. I’ve recently revamped my playlist and thought you all might want to see what songs power me through! A new month is upon us (very soon!), so what better time to update your playlist?

Awww. Look at your with all your songs with “love” in the title for February!

I always love Hanson on my workout playlist, but lately I’m obsessed with Hot Chelle Ray.

Love We Found Love right now! I am still listening to Raise Your Glass - Glee version too, for some reason I find it a great pump up song.

I still love the “Rumor Has It / Someone Like You” mash up from Glee, as well as their “We Are Young” version. And sadly, “Sexy and I Know It” & “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO always make me smile when I’m slogging through a long run :)

ok this might sound weird, but i am obsessed with songs from my Zumba class…please look up Don Omar and Lucenzo, Taboo, and also the song Danza Kuduro. If those songs dont help you move it, I dont know what will!
I also have Chris Brown and Pitt Bull International Lover, and the entire David Ghetto CD. It is amazing!

“in the dark” gets me so pumped, “addiction” and “take over control”… I like fast tencho-y songs when I work out. They keep me going!

Love you like a love song… <- love it. It gets stuck in my head all day but that's okay.

And same with Move Like Jagger.

Honestly, I love every track on here b/c they're perfect for cardio. Sometimes I like certain tracks and types of music for certain workouts and these would be great for cardio. Or to belt out in my car when I'm alone and no one's listening. lol

I’m the same way- I need upbeat music! I LOVE Rihanna’s “we found love” and Jessie J’s “domino”! And for some reason, my roommate got this stuck in my head, but every time I hear or see the title “moves like jagger” I think “moobs like jagger” haha…so random :)

You just inspired me to go download some new music on itunes! I haven’t updated my playlist in at least 4 months… and some have been on there for at least 18 months or so :-)

What a fun mix. There are some songs that I get sick of really fast… but Moves Like Jagger still gets me excited every time I turn on the radio. I love that you included some Glee. I remember I downloaded Blackout several months before it was popular for free on Itunes. I felt so cool when it started getting radio airplay and I already knew all the words.

I post my spin playlists on my blog! I just did a new one tonight, actually! I share the Kelly Clarkson with ya,but none of the other ones made it in this week. I’m loving Levels (Avicii) and the remix with Flo Rida even though I’ve been using it for weeks!

I love those songs! I always have to have music on when I’m working out or my mind convinces me to just stop moving. My favorite pump me up song is STILL Party Rockin - some day I will move on, I swear ;)

A few of these songs are on my playlist too!! I love a little Black Eyed Peas as well, they usually help me to get pumped up through a workout! ha
Some days the music does nothing for me, yet some days I know I would not make it through my workout without it!!!

Love this playlist. Especially the Selena Gomez. Something about that song gets me so pumped! My faves lately have been Coldplay and Rihanna - “Princess of China” and Inna - “Amazing.” I’ve been feelin’ the techno-inspired tunes!
