sounds like you had a great weekend!! It was SUPER windy here too. I have enjoyed lots of me time this weekend & am off to my favorite kick-boxing class this morning!
Looking forward to the Oscars fashion tonight too!
I love the ‘notes’ from the weekend-very cute!
Saturday: ran 13.1 on the treadmill, scrubbed the kitchen floor, cleaned out the shoe closet (donated 6 pairs), cuddled with my toddler/hubby, watched Modern Family and Big Bang Theory, read and baked cookies.
Today: church, bake more cookies, prep lunches for the week and cuddle w/toddler and hubby.
Enjoy your Sunday Chelsey! I wish Target jeans fit me-they are so cute!
You sound pretty productive! I also painted my nails pink!!! by the way, Kathleen mentioned vegan fro yo on twitter… we need to check this place out! sounds cool!
There sure is! All I did was googled “post it notes” and copied it into paint. Then I added my text, selected “all”, and pasted it into my Live Writer! If you blog from your dashboard instead of Live Writer, I’m sure you could save the post it and then upload it.
Cute idea Well, I was supposed to be on a plane to Seattle right now and I spent all day yesterday preparing for the trip, including getting a workout in where I fell off a chair and rolled my ankle that subsequently started hurting excruciatingly last night and now I can’t walk! So yeah, not on the plane and instead sitting on my couch with my foot up. Not really a fun weekend!
Love the post format! And it looks like you had a nice weekend!
I stayed in and avoided the snow on Friday while watching Footloose (SO GOOD!) with my roommate and then spent yesterday doing homework and catching up with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while!
No we watched the old one. I did see the new Footloose though and I thought that, with the exception of the casting and portrayal of Ariel, they did a great job! The dancing and music is just as fun as in the original!
Friday: dinner with friends (they cooked - bonus!) Saturday: workout, brunch with my daddy-o, farmer’s market with the rents (they paid - bonus!), family time at night with nieces, nephews, brother, sister, hubs, rents Sunday: workout, learn new recipe from grandma, dinner with in-laws cheers to good weekends!
sounds like a great weekend! you saw what friday night was like for me… cheesecake factory and movie with the hubs. yesterday consisted of major laziness other than a 5 mile run, a short walk with the dogs, and a trip to barnes & noble. today is church, costco, and more relaxing!
What a fun post! I love how you organized it and used the notepad…I may steal this for my Snday post (and of course give you credit ).
On Saturday I…
-ate my standard pre-run breakfast of toast, sunflower seed butter, a banana, iced coffee, and lots of water
-ran 10 miles with a friend
-made a smoothie
-went to the dog park with the husband and pups (duh)
-ate Neopolitan style pizza at Cafe Porta Alba
-ate half of a peanut butter and jelly cupcake
-took a nap on the couch
-wrote a blog post
-made chicken noodle soup for my sick husband
-read and went to bed
Sounds like you had a great weekend. Did you like the newest episode of Modern Family? I was obsessed with American Girl dolls when I was a kid, so I thought the parts in the doll hospital were pretty funny
Glad to hear you found some nude flats at Target - I’m off to DSW to look for some nude pumps today!
Sounds like a fun, productive weekend! I had a cheerleading performance Saturday night and then went out for my friend’s 19th birthday to Texas Land & Cattle, where I had a steakburger and a baked sweet potato. So yummy!
Sounds like an awesome weekend! I love how you had oatmeal later on in the day to make up for not having it at breakfast. I always do the same thing if I’m not able to eat one of my usual favourite breakfasts haha. Cereal, fruit and yogurt for dinner - why not?
This weekend I went out to dinner at my favourite restaurant, went out for fro yo, and made a big family brunch this morning. And I have to drive back to school soon, which I’m majorly bummed about!
The post-it notes are super cute! Sounds like a fun weekend. I haven’t done anything nearly as exciting. Except for watching Robin Hood - Men in Tights yesterday, that’s fun any day in my book.
I went through a period a few years ago when I was obsessed with FNL. Oh, Tim Riggins….I couldn’t stop watching because of him.
Glad it was a productive but wonderful weekend.
gorgeously interesting post! so unique!
you need toe warmers! they attach to your socks and allow for longer adventures outdoors with the poochies! i promise. i’m a wimp, . . . and damnit! i forgot to stalk up on more warmers whilst shopping today.
we hiked a lot in the woods, drank a lot of wine, and now it’s time for “a streetcar named desire” and later cooking of a grand dinner. you must check my blog tomorrow or report of my food design. fish in grape leaves! do you eat fish?
hello to charlie from gwendolyn! <3
Friday night I made homemade pizza (a new tradition the boyfriend and I started 3 Fridays ago ) and watched Four Weddings..one of my favs on TLC!
Saturday I ran 4.5 miles (PDR!!), made crock pot chili with chicken as a surprise to the BF (I’ve been keeping things too vegetarian around here for the poor guy), and rented the movie 50/50 at Redbox! It was good
Today was church, target, a long walk, LOTS of homework and nachos topped with the leftover chili!
had so much fun with you!! felt like we could have sat there for hours… if our waitress wasn’t shooting us daggers i am definitely in favor of a monthly delia’s date!
My weekend in note form:
- kinda sick = no running (been over a week for me now!) b/c of super scratchy throat - breathing hard hurts.
- got in a few long BodyRock pyramid workouts and loved them!
- cleaned our little basement suite
- finally caught up on the phone with my mom
- went to our friends’ baby dedication and then later to dinner and back to church with them
- watched my dad preach online live streaming back in California from Canada today!
- made a big pot of vegetable soup for the week.
…not a bad weekend! I read your blog often but don’t always comment Chelsea; thanks for being engaging and interactive and for the fun, quality posts!
love the post its its so cute! i just did hw,food shoppin and family get together,, relaxing:-)! sounds like u hada good wknd too, ughh i miss friday night lights!! i loveee everyone in it its like i wanna be friends with them all haha im sucha loser! enjoy the rest of ur sunday did u watch the oscars??
Love the post it notes, so cute and fun to read! Sounds like you had a super fun and relaxing weekend aka the best kind.
I spent this weekend baking, working on a presentation for uni and trying to find a good croissant. Simple, but rejuvenating.
I REALLY need some hair highlighting action going on too! After seeing Cameron Diaz at the Oscars last night, I thought, ‘THAT’S what I want my hair colour to look like!” I have this weird complex of always making sure my hair can be super blonde - doesn’t always seem to work out like that with all the lack of sunlight we getting during winter
I also worked out for the past 9 days in a row, so I think I’m ready for a break…ALL week!
Nice notes! I did a 7 mile run in the freezing cold 25mph wind Saturday. Took by breath away…
I watched men’s volleyball & a paraolympic sport called seated volleyball, which was really interesting. I also went to church, planned my vegetable garden, and trimmed my hair.
I ought to do a Target run for new jeans - my go-to pair has developed a big ol’ rip in the butt!
I did two parties (I’m a Passion Parties consultant…so, in other words, my job involves hosting parties…), made lots of $, caught up with friends, browsed WF for hours, saved lots of $ at WF, caught up with more friends, went to a Kripalu yoga class, put about 350 mi on my car, caught up on Glee and Smash, did a massive cooking session, and went to Zumba.

13.1 on the treadmill?! How did you manage the boredom?!
You sound pretty productive! I also painted my nails pink!!! by the way, Kathleen mentioned vegan fro yo on twitter… we need to check this place out! sounds cool!
shut up! let’s go!
I’m all in! I asked Kathleen where it was and she didn’t respond. I guess not everyone keeps twitter open 24/7 to make reading admin law less boring…
I love those sticky notes!! Is there a way any blogger can use them?? I’m kind of obsessed with post-it notes
Sounds like you’ve had a great weekend!!

I like the note idea!
I’m jealous you were able to find jeans at Target. I can never find the “right” pair there, & I sure would like to because of the prices.
Enjoy your Sunday!
Loved the style of this post!! Very cute : )
Cute notes!
I had an awesome sister date to see The Vow. I may or may not have gotten pulled over on 90, which may or may not have been an interesting experience.
Yikes! I hate getting pulled over!
Cute idea

That totally blows! I hope your foot is feeling better.

Friday Night Lights I love!!
What season are you on?
I only have TWO episodes left!!!!
Oh my gosh, it was hilarious - I really loved “The Middle” though. It was too funny.
Cute notes from the weekend! Looks very relaxing and productive!
Sounds like a fun weekend! I had a great weekend - went to Supercross in the Georgia Dome… so fun!
What is Supercross?
Sounds like a fun, productive weekend! I had a cheerleading performance Saturday night and then went out for my friend’s 19th birthday to Texas Land & Cattle, where I had a steakburger and a baked sweet potato. So yummy!
I love baked sweet potatoes from restaurants!
I love them plain! And it was just as good heated up in the microwave the next day!
Sounds like an awesome weekend! I love how you had oatmeal later on in the day to make up for not having it at breakfast. I always do the same thing if I’m not able to eat one of my usual favourite breakfasts haha. Cereal, fruit and yogurt for dinner - why not?

How good is Friday Night Lights! I went through the entire series in about a month. So crazy good!
I only have two episodes left!
Sounds like you had such a fun weekend!
I spent my weekend moving to Omaha. I am still in the process of getting my apartment all situated!
I went through a period a few years ago when I was obsessed with FNL. Oh, Tim Riggins….I couldn’t stop watching because of him.
Glad it was a productive but wonderful weekend.
Chelsey, love your blog! Was the yoga sculpt class you went to at Corepower Yoga? That place is my sanctuary.
Thanks Danielle! It was at a Corepower studio - I have a week free now!
gorgeously interesting post!

I don’t eat fish, but it sounds great - I can appreciate it! I’ve always wanted to try making a grape leaves dish.
I blogged about it…naturally. http://lindsayslist.co/2012/02/what-happens-when-saturday-edition/
And I’ll be reading it… naturally.

PS Love the stickies! They’re super cute.
My mom highlights my hair too. Love my mom!
Spent it with friends and family. Went out to the movies, for dinner, to coffee, and on a gym date. it was fab and now I’m exhausted!
