Believe it or not, today marks the end of 2012. Whether this year was full of ups and downs (isn’t every year?) or slow and steady, I hope it was a good one for you. Although you will wake up tomorrow and feel the same, a brand new year will be upon us – hello 2013!
I have never been big on setting up lofty goals for myself in the new years. Maybe it’s because I know I’m human, I’ll break my goals, and then I’ll feel like a horrible person. However, one thing I know I will be doing is staying the healthiest I can be for me in 2013. Two years ago, being my healthiest meant I got up at 5 AM a few mornings a week to get my long runs in for my half marathon trainings. Last year, being my healthiest meant I took a long hiatus from running and exercise in general.
This upcoming year, it’s going to all be about balance. Balancing work and fitness, balancing family and grad school, balancing hobbies and required commitments. Most of all, however, I want to start focusing on fitness again. It was incredibly hard to give up something that defined me so much for the majority of last year, and don’t misinterpret this – I’m not saying right now is the right time to run a marathon or anything. But regularly working out gives me energy, makes me feel better, and well – I’m an overall happier person when doing it.
Right now, I’m a gym go-er for the most part. And let’s be honest – getting yourself motivated in the dead of winter is a particularly difficult thing to do. The thing that helps me out the most? Cute attire. There’s nothing like a new workout outfit to get me motivated to get my booty to the gym. Which is why I was so incredibly excited when PV.Body contacted me about a month ago to see if I wanted to try out their services.
If you’ve never heard about PV.Body before, let me break it break it down for you. They are a fitness clothing company that picks out and styles an exercise outfit for you, sends it to you for an UNGODLY low amount (seriously.), and happily listens to all of your wants and needs. These are high quality clothes too – outfits that you would find at a department or specialty store for $130. I’m sorry, but I am frugal. I like to keep my money for more important things (Starbucks?) if that means I have to wear ratty old workout clothes. Thankfully, PV.Body is the solution for people like you and me.
Here’s how the process works….
Go to the website and sign up in three easy steps
Fill out a style quiz
sample questions from the style quiz
Pay $49.95 for your extremely discounted outfit
Here’s some other awesome parts about this – you will ALWAYS get free shipping and you will ALWAYS be able to return/exchange a product that you don’t like.
One question I was sure to ask P.V. Body was if you HAD to get an outfit every month. The answer is NO! You are definitely able to freeze your account, take a few months off, and then decide that you want to order again – all without any extra fees!
Prance around the gym/house/outdoors looking all sassified.
Enough said. When I received my sample outfit from PV.Body, I was more than pleasantly surprised. They listened to everything I said I liked (as indecisive as I am), and even listened to my special requests about needing longer tanks because of my height. I received a pair of long blue/gray leggings as well as this tank. I’m in love with it and even wore this outfit around yesterday with boots and a sweater thrown over it. Workout gear turned fashionista outfit? I’ll take it!
don’t mind the messy, unmade bed!
Do you want to save even more?
PV.Body offered me an opportunity to become an ambassador for their company, which basically means this. If you use my referral link, you receive 20% off your order and I get a small stipend which, let’s be honest – I’ll be using to buy more clothes from them.
So let’s do the math on this one….
Already Discounted Price: $49.95
20% Discount: $9.99
Your new workout clothing shipped free to your house: $39.96
Let me just say this – I wouldn’t be sharing this information with you if I didn’t think this company was legitimate. The whole concept kind of just blows my mind, and I’m looking forward to ordering more clothing from them in the future. Don’t forget to check it out and make 2013 your most balanced yet!

Brilliant idea and the clothes look awesome. I love that you used the words prace and sassified in a sentence together!!
Goodl uck with your balance in 2013!
Cute tank! I was contacted by this company too and I can’t wait to check out what they have to offer.
Have a great new year Chelsey!!
Very cute workout tank! I definitely agree that having the proper attire helps motivate me to get my behind to the gym!
Love your blog, Chelsey! I tried to sign up but realized it is just for Americans
I’m from Canada.
GAAH! Dang those logistics!!
Sad face.
I signed up for this using your referral link, but never got a discount.
Oh no! Let me email my contact with your information - I’m sure she’ll get it worked out for you! (Maybe not today because of NYE, but I’m sure you’ll get reimbursed!)
Love your resolution about keeping the balance! I think that’s a great one for everyone. New workout clothes always motivate me to workout….I’ll definitely have to check out PV.Body.
I’ve been hearing such great things about this company! I’m seriously considering signing up!
Cute. I have heard of this but I’m skeptical of getting the right size and stuff.
Believe me, I was worried about that too. But the questions they ask on the style survey kind of combat that - for real! And you can exchange/return anything with no hassles and you can tell them exactly what you didn’t like so they can pull something you would want!
I keep hearing/reading about this company on blogs. It seems like everybody that has tried it has had really great things to say about it. I am getting very, very tempted…especially with that discount!!
haha do it! There’s no commitment!
I’m so excited about my new pv outfit, but at the check out the 20% off didn’t apply. Is there a way to get it back?
Absolutely - I will email my contact tomorrow with your email address. I wonder why it didn’t work, especially when the link clearly says that it’ll be taken off automatically! Sorry about that Kaylee!
I answered the survey, but it seems like they don’t have bottoms big enough for me. The tank is super cute on you though!
Oh this could be dangerous! My husband freaks Bc I have an armoir fullof just workout clothes.
I am not sure if anyone else has mentioned this; however I have a hard time getting your site up. It takes a few minutes for the computer (and kindle, laptop) to bring it up-just a long hang time. Thought I would let you know
Hey Chelsey, I’m trying to checkout (first time signing up/using pvbody too) with your referral link but it’s not taking off the discount for me? Do you know how I would fix that??
Ugh, I’m so sorry Danica! Two other people have had this problem as well. If you want to wait until I reach my contact at PV.Body, I’m sure she can get it fixed tomorrow. Otherwise, you can go ahead and check out and I’m sure they will refund you the 20% off.
No worries! I think I’ll just wait until it’s “fixed” though and then order…could you maybe email me once you hear from them so I know how to get the discount to show up? Thanks so much! ( [email protected] )
No problem - I’ll let you know ASAP!
I love how you explained that staying fit and healthy doesn’t always mean the same thing . It’s about staying balanced and doing what you can with where you are in your life. Interests change as does what is most important to us at a given time-it’s all about finding balance and what makes you happy!
Were the clothes you received any brand you know, or is it their own thing?
they have name brand stuff - they just added Lululemon to their line of stuff!
