ellie workout clothing

March 10, 2013

A few months ago I got word that PV.Body would be changing its approach and would be launching its own new line of clothing, Ellie.

I won’t lie – I had mixed opinions about this when I first heard about this. I felt like customers should have been given the heads up about this approach, but I also knew that anyone who had originally signed up for a PV.Body subscription could cancel at any time with no charge at all. So, I decided to keep an open mind.

Everything I have heard about the line has been nothing but positive. Unfortunately, I have not received my outfit from February’s line yet (there was an address mix up), but I am hoping to update you in a few days when I receive my outfit. Everyone I have heard from has said the clothes are high quality, comfortable, and better yet, affordable. I am SO excited to try it out – and nothing motivates me to workout more than to get a cute new outfit.

Ellie works in the same way PV.Body did. You can sign up for a subscription and get a new outfit every month, or you can opt to be a non member and buy an outfit whenever you’d like.

Ellie’s subscription club is called The Fit Fashionista program. As part of the program, you can choose two pieces a month for $49.95. The fun part about Ellie is that they roll out a new collection every month so there is always new variety in the clothing you’re choosing from. This month the collection they just rolled out is the Little Black Collection. I want it all!

As always, Ellie has free shipping, both ways, if you are unhappy with any of your purchases.

You are still able to use my referral link to get 20% off your purchase if you would like to try Ellie out. My excitement to finally try this line is through the roof! Like I said previously, I will be updating you as soon as I receive my outfit that is en route to me.

Disclaimer: Ellie is sending me an outfit in exchange for my review. I also will receive a small compensation for any referrals I do make. However, as always, I will always tell you what I truly think. All opinions are my own.

I just signed up for Ellie! I haven’t received my first outfit yet - I’ve been waiting over 18 days… So as long as their fitness gear is good quality, I will be able to work with the super long shipping times!

Just got mine today - LOOOOOOOVE. The material is so soft it’s ridiculous. I didn’t want to take it off when I put it on!

I haven’t tried any Ellie clothes, but have seen them all over the blog world. I’m looking forward to seeing what new colors they come up with for spring.

I wish they would’ve warned their customers about the name change too-I was really confused there for a while! I decided to stick it out, just like you did, and my February outfit should be here this week!

I love the idea of PV Body/Ellie, but I don’t know if I could justify the price! Most months, I can score a great, discounted workout outfit at Target for maybe $20-$25? And the C9 clothes I get from there definitely stand up in quality to pieces I have from Lululemon/Athleta.

Their clothes ARE very cute though! Hope you get your shipment soon!

I do love my outfit from them but know customer service has slowed down quite a bit

The Little Black Collection looks awesome and SO flattering! That is great that they offer free shipping, too. It sure makes online shopping much easier!

This is great to know that you can shop as a non-member. Until workout makes a regular appearance again, I don’t think I can justify the monthly membership. Thanks for the info! And can’t wait to see what you get!

The idea of a membership club for fitness outfits is interesting…I never thought of that! Sounds good - post a pic in your outfit!
