I’m glad you all have enjoyed part one of the girls’ birth story. I’ll probably get the second half to it (the rewarding half 😉 ) in the next couple of days. Until then, let’s get back to a little normalcy around here, shall we?
My eats have been kind of all over the place lately. I’ve been eating when the babies sleep (which is almost all the time at this point), and I have to tell you – feeding twins makes you HUNGRY. I thought pregnancy hunger was no joke… until now. I am starving all of the time. I’m taking advantage of it because I need to keep my food intake up so I can produce enough to feed these lovely ladies.
Thanks to Jenn (new mama of the chickpea!) for hosting another What I Ate Wednesday!
Breakfast – 8:00 AM
We had some old bananas to use up, so I made a batch of banana bread pancakes. Basically, I just added mashed banana to the batter. 😉 I topped them with peanut butter and some maple syrup. And yes, that is a large dinner plate. And yes, my pancakes fill the entire plate. Gotta do it right!
Snack – 10:00 AM
Veggies and dip! The Husband’s aunt sent over some food for us, and part of it was this delicious veggie dip. I have no idea what is in it – except that it has dill. Yum!
Lunch – 1:00 PM
For lunch, I ate a turkey sandwich topped with avocado, cheese, and lettuce. On the side I ate a cinnamon apple Chobani. Yes, I know that some Chobani was recalled. No, this was not one of them. Yes, I still love Chobani.
Snack – ???
The husband’s cousin brought us dinner on Friday night, and she also dropped off these delicious no bake bars. All I have to say is I am glad they are gone because I single handedly ate them all. They were sooooo delicious!
Dinner – 7:00 PM
Dinner was another meal brought to us by a friend. Everyone has been incredibly good to us and offering to bring us meals since the girls got home. My friend Courtney made us a Mexican fiesta, and I completely forgot to take pictures of it. It was delicious though!
Snack – 9:30 PM
To end the day, I had a bowl of Honey Nut Chex while watching TV. When I was eating this bowl, I was reminded as to how much I miss my permanent shelf of a belly to put food on!
