1. It’s about time we got back to one of these posts, wouldn’t you agree?
2. You know what’s a full time job? Washing bottles. Holy cow. If someone just wants to be hired as a bottle washer, I will pay you with snuggle time with my babies. One of my friends sent me this link, and I have to say – so so so true. 😉
3. I have so many posts in my head that I want to write (many to do with babies and postpartum life – sorry if that’s not interesting to you!) but there just aren’t enough hours in a day. Bare with me. They’ll get written!
4. One of my besties is coming up for the day today to visit with the girls and me. Yay! I’m so excited – especially because that means an extra set of hands for the day. Extra hands are my favorite.
5. I’m pretty sure I’m going to die when Breaking Bad is over in two weeks. Does anyone else watch that show? I just got into it when I started watching it on Netflix a few months ago. Being pregnant with twins meant I had a lot of couch time on my hands which meant I got to do a lot of reading and TV watching. I’m pretty sure I caught up with the series in a matter of weeks. Now that there are only two episodes left, I can’t even handle the drama going on in the show. Gaah!
6. I am so glad I am doing my fall semester of grad school online. Not only does it seem easier, but I get to do it on my own time (usually about two hours before assignments are due – nothing like feeling the pressure to get things done!).
7. Poor Charlie was so confused the last couple of weeks. It was actually pretty funny. Whenever we got up with the babies at night, he thought it was time to wake up for the day and would run through the house all excited. He finally caught on this past week that waking up in the middle of the night is now the cool thing to do, and that doesn’t mean he has to wake up every time. And for those of you who are wondering how Charlie is doing, he is doing great with the babies. He is very curious and now comes running every time one of them cries (which honestly isn’t very often – knock on wood). He is also our “dirty diaper sniffer”. We know it’s time to change someone when he starts sniffing their butts. True story.
8. How is it already September 20? I’m going to cry big fat alligator tears in nine days when my girls are a month old. HOOOOOOW?!?!?
9. That’s all I’ve got for you guys today. I’ll try to be back next week with a few posts about what life with the babies is like and how I’m doing with my recovery. Happy Friday!
