This weekend was so much fun. Along with the fun, it was jam packed from start to finish. It was one of those weekends where I need another weekend to recover!
It all started on Friday evening when I went to go get a mani/pedi for the next day. I had two weddings to attend, and my fingers and toes were in definite need. I went with a light bubblegum pink color on both!
After I got my nails done, I headed off to John’s cousin’s rehearsal dinner. John was the best man in his wedding on Saturday, so we had fun catching up and chatting with family and friends!
Saturday morning and afternoon were full of fun with the little ladies. It started early when they woke up around 6. Because the previous night was late, I found myself dragging even more than usual. THat was nothing a little trip get coffee couldn’t fix. I swear sometimes when I am home I come up with “early morning errands” just to feed my addiction. The girls don’t mind.

After playing for a few hours, we played until we dropped…. quite literally.
We spent the rest of the late morning and early afternoon running actual errands and playing. I can’t tell you all enough how much use we get out of our double snap n go stroller frame. If you have twins, it’s a must!
That afternoon I got dolled up to go to my first of two weddings of the night. My cousin was up first! I went sans date to this one as I would be meeting up with the Husband later on in the night.
I secretly took the below picture – isn’t she gorgeous? She looked so calm and ready to get married!

We immediately went to the reception after the ceremony and took advantage of the photo booth they had available.
After dinner, I said my goodbyes and headed off for dancing at the other wedding. There were no pictures taken at that one, but I can assure you it was a good time. I spent the entire time out on the dance floor – and I counted that as my weekend workout. After another late night, we went home, relived my best friend who was watching the girls, and got a few hours of shut eye.
Sunday was all about family time! My brother in law and niece were in from Baltimore for the family wedding, and we made certain to go spend some time with our niece, Henri. It’s crazy how much little ones grow – we hadn’t seen her since Christmas, and she has changed so much!
That girl is all about the drama.
After spending a few hours over at my in-laws, we packed the girls up and went home… but not before we stopped for an impromptu ice cream cone! I always get the cone, eat the ice cream, and throw the cone away. It works – ha!
We spent the rest of the evening playing the girls, doing some things around the house, and grocery shopping. Before I knew it, it was time for bed and another weeding was over. Only two and a half more weeks until all my weeks are permanent weekends for a few months!

3. I miss you! xoxoxo
I’m glad I’m blogging more too!
What a fun weekend! I think the photo booth idea at wedding receptions is so much fun! I hope one of the three weddings we’re going to will have one! And that ice cream cone looks incredible!
It was - I need another!
The blue dress is lovely on you!!! Hope you’re not feeling it too much today after your busy ass weekend!!! Lots of fun!
Thanks!
Looks like you all had a great weekend!
I have to laugh at the stroller comment! My mom had twins 9 years ago (I was 12 or 13 at the time, so I did plenty of helping), and my parents splurged on that stroller set! I totally understand what you mean by saying it is a must for twins- it saved our life!
ha! I didn’t know it was popular then! I seriously could not run errands without it!
Sounds like a super fun (but tiring) weekend!
Can we just talk about how much I am LOVING you blogging again?! It makes me smile every time I see a new post from you in my Bloglovin.
So glad you had a great weekend! Sounds like a fun (and busy!) one! You look beautiful!
I am loving it too. I finally figured out that just like anything else in my life, I just need to schedule it in!
I agree with comment #1, you are gorgeous! Sounds like a great weekend. We’ve had one instance too where two weddings were in one night, but then Tyler messed that up completely by booking a trip to Florida without realizing that it was the weekend of the weddings. Oh, husband!!
You’re too sweet - thanks! And oh husband is right!
We have the double snap n go
glad to hear it will be worth it!
Totally worth it! It is seriously the best investment!
I agree with the ladies above.. happy you’re back and blogging more! I’m sure life gets CRAZY with twins but thanks for finding some time for us
LOVE your dress for the wedding!!!
Thanks Kaella! I hope it’s a regular occurrence now.
That sounds like a lovely weekend spent with family! And that ice cream cone! Yum!
