I understand this game isn’t for everyone, and some of you might be sick of me talking about it by now… I’m just too excited! I have also contacted a few companies and am working on getting some other prizes in place. So, throughout the game there will be prizes handed out!
2. I found this hysterical blog post about a hypothetical birth plan. I’m not knocking the birth plan… buuuut, I’m kind of the person who goes into things (such as childbirth) not really wanting a plan as to not be disappointed if it doesn’t go my way. That’s the way I approached it with the girls!
3. This week dragged and dragged and dragged on some more. Holy cow, I am so ready for the weekend! I’m ready for a few days of relaxation!
4. For the past 5 years that we have lived in our house, our bedrooms have been so so cold. It doesn’t help that our thermostat is in our living room, and our bedrooms are at the edge of the house. We finally bit the bullet and had an insulator come by this week to fix the problem. He had to add TWENTY TWO inches of insulation to our attic….. months before we leave the house. Cue hand to forehead.
5. I have been needing a new perfume for months now. I ran out of a VERY large bottle of perfume I bought in Paris (when I went in 2009) just last year, and since then I have been trying to decide what perfume I wanted to try next. Because some perfumes smell nice on some and not others, I decided to go get some different samples yesterday. Some top contenders are Prada Candy, Marc Jacobs Honey, Bond No. Astor Place and one more that I can’t remember the name of!
6. Has anyone ever experience an Ocular Migraine? It’s pretty much the weirdest thing EVER. Before the headache hits, I have what looks like strobe lights in one of my eyes – which in turn makes it hard for me to see out of my right eye and I look like a fool trying to reposition my head so I can see. Then after about a half hour of that, it stops and I get a ridiculous headache. I get them every couple of months, and last night I got one after smelling a crap ton of perfumes. I have the most sensitive head ever. Ugh! They’re the worst.
7. Yesterday after school I got my nails done for the first time in forever! I think it’s been since September or October since I got them done. It was soooo needed!
8. I finally finished the girls’ one year books, and Brooklyn’s came yesterday. I used Shutterfly to make these non-traditional bay books, and I SO love how they came out. I’m thinking about putting together a post on how I approached making them. It took so much time and effort, but I am so glad I did it!
9. We have an institute day at work today, and then it’s time for the weekend! Happy Friday everyone!
