catching up

August 5, 2013

Good morning! I haven’t really popped in here on Mondays very often lately (the end of the weekends sneak up on me pretty fast these days), but I figured I would today. The blog was down from early Friday morning until yesterday morning which means not too many (if any!) of you were able to read my fun facts friday post from Friday morning. If you didn’t get to see if yet, head on over and read it now!

We had a pretty low key weekend, but it was really productive. Well, the Husband was productive. I was the supervisor. He put together all of our baby things (strollers, swings, bouncy seats, etc.) and hung their name decals up on the walls – which means now if anyone comes over, the nursery door will be locked or I will have to find some way to cover everything up. ;) (sorry Rian if you are still planning on coming over tomorrow night)

For today, I have a few errands to run, and I’m hoping to get into the chiropractor this morning. I need him to work on my neck because it is super sore. Then I’m babysitting my nieces for an hour or so (Okay, they’re my cousin’s girls, but still my nieces!), and I have my first of three doctors appointments for the week this afternoon.

Make it a great Monday!

I love those weekends when everything gets checked off the to-do list! This one wasn’t one of those for me, but it was a great one!

Love the warning label! And I’m an auntie to my cousin’s little girl - it made the most sense and she only has one auntie on this side of the family so we didn’t think another would hurt!

We did the same thing with the name on the wall before our son arrived. Luckily no one stopped by beforehand :-) Sounds like you guys are pretty much ready for their arrival! Soon too!

Those sneaky Mondays just come way too quickly. Three dr’s appts? Wow! I guess that’s what happens when you have a few babies swimming around inside of you ;) .

Haha, I love that Monday picture! It is so true. Either way, no matter how much you don’t want it to, Monday WILL happen. But hey, with it being Monday we are now one day closer to Friday! :)

Gaaaaaaah!!! The names are set…I am SO excited to find out what they are!! We literally left the girl’s name to a few days before our girl was born (we didn’t find out what we were having), but I’m glad the husband came to his senses and finally liked the name I picked out haha

hahaha! I think that when the husbands see what their wives go through in the last few weeks, they’re more than willing to concede to what we want. ;)

There are going to be so many people who probably pop up at your door after reading this! LOL You’re going to need to put a pad lock on the nursery soon ;)

Well, at least you are keeping busy Chelsey. Supervising or not. Haaha. Best to occupy your mind That should keep ya feelin a tad better. Right?

Love the linens! Forgot when I saw them. Very nice. It was good you were able to find the same pattern …. different colors. Then again, I must say this, when the girls are older they just might fight over the pink and/or purple. Trust me. I have stories!

Enjoy the evening.
