1. Has everyone had a nice holiday week? I hope everyone got some time off for the New Year! We had a blast at the party we went to on Wednesday night – waking up yesterday was hard!
2. I am officially obsessed with the show Criminal Minds. I have been binge watching it on Netflix. It is SO good – and holy crap, I can’t believe how the writers come up with some of the story lines. Creepy! And speaking of Netflix, anyone else wanting to binge watch Friends now that all seasons are available?? I have already watched “The One Where Everyone Finds Out” and “The One With Ross’ Sandwich”. Boy AWESOME episodes. haha!
3. Some of you have been asking to see my hair since I went a little bit darker. Here you go!
The next time I go in to get my hair done, my sister in law is going to add one more darker color to blend everything in a little bit more. Because my hair was SO blonde and I still wanted a more natural look, we have to go slowly!
4. I have to get back into meal planning mode. The last two weeks we have just kind of winged it, which has been nice because I have the time to go to the store whenever, but Monday’s going to be rough!
5. We are FINALLY going to possibly get some of the white stuff in the next few days. I can’t believe it has not snowed at all yet this season – usually we have at least seen a few storms by now. Thankfully (insert sarcasm here), the new year also brought along the bitterly cold winter temps that we are used to in Chicago. It’s been freezing!
6. I am on the hunt for some moccasins for the girls, but I really don’t want to spend $60 on a pair of Freshly Picked moccs even though they’re adorable. I have been looking at these – I love the color. I feel like they would go with just about anything!
Anyone else have a pair of moccs they really like for their kids that aren’t too expensive?
7. I got this sweatshirt from Kohl’s last week, and I love it. It’s a little “dressier”, but don’t be deceived – it’s still a sweatshirt.. and it is SO comfortable.
8. I cannot believe the number of pregnancies that have been announced on my Facebook feed in the last couple of days. Holy cow – I think everyone’s pregnant and due in July!!
9. Any other Downton Abbey fans out there? It’s back on Sunday!! I forgot about this until one of my friends told me yesterday. I. Am. Pumped. Plus, George Clooney is making a guest appearance this season!
10. I have a busy day planned – brunch with a friend and then the movies later with another! I hope everyone has a great weekend. I’ll “see” you bright and early Monday morning!
