1. Okay, even though I had "cold days’ Monday and Tuesday, this week was loooooooooooooooooooooooong. Waking up at 4:00 hit me like a ton of bricks this week after sleeping in all break. TGIF!
2. A lot of you have been asking about how my mom is doing. She is doing great! She is still in pain most days (which I think will be her new normal for a while), but she has been cleared to drive AND today is her first day watching the girls solo at our house. I am so happy not to be leaving at 6:00 AM to bring them to my aunt’s house anymore!
3. It’s no surprise that I’m freaking obsessed with headbands for the girls. I got more headbands in the mail on Wednesday, and when the Husband opened the package all he could say was "seriously?". What can I say, I love them! My favorites thus far have been Bands for Babes, Winter Scarlett, and Jameson Monroe (which I haven’t bit the bullet and bought any from yet because they’re pretty expensive but SO stinking adorable!).
4. What happened to my little blobs that would lay around? Seriously, these girlies are growing way too quickly. The other night I was rocking Brooklyn, and I almost cried because she is so huge. I also almost cried while organizing and folding all their 3-6 month clothing. Gaaaaah!
5. Is anyone else over this whole "winter" thing already? I always like it until about December 26, but then I’m done. I’m ready for green grass, flowers, and flip flops please!
6. Have you entered my giveaway yet? A winner will be announced on Monday morning!
7. Interesting article that Ashley linked to yesterday.
8. Tomorrow, for the first time in what feels like FOREVER, my mom and I are going out and running errands. That used to be our Saturday norm, but since she’s been at my aunt’s house on the mend (she is now at her own house), we haven’t been able to. We have plans of going to Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and I have to make some exchanges to make at the mall.
9. We have no other plans this weekend, and it feels so good. I have grand plans of taking all of the Christmas decorations down and getting my house back in order. I feel like our house has been even more cramped than usual because of the Christmas tree. We need all the space we can get!
10. That’s a wrap - Happy Friday!!!!

I’m so glad your mom is doing better! I’m sure she is glad to be back home, and starting to watch the girls again! Enjoy your weekend with errands. My house has boxes everywhere from undecorating… I really need to get on that! Haha
Yay for your mom feeling better! TOTALLY over this whole winter thing, I want some sunshine and decent temps…but the winter sure does remind me to be grateful for spring/summer. I’m a sunny and 70 degree gal
Try jane.com for super cheap headbands. Sweet and Chic Bowtique on Etsy is also amaaaazing, but pricier than jane.com. Good luck!
So happy to hear your mom is on the mend and your routine is headed back to normal!! Enjoy your quiet weekend. I hope it is warming up in your state..Suppose to be in the 50s next week in Kansas..who knew that was “warm”!!
That’s so good to hear that your mom is recovering well!
And thanks for sharing that article about fertility…so interesting!! And yet it all makes perfect sense.
Happy Friday my friend! I still cry some days because Hailey is growing so fast. Life sure gets set on fast-forward once you have kids.
So glad your mom is doing better!
And thanks for the links to the bows- I need to buy some more before baby girl#2 arrives!
Happy Friday! Your girls are growing up so fast…and they are SO cute. Glad to hear your mom is doing better. Hope you get to tick lots of things off your to do list this weekend!
I’m glad to hear that your mom is doing ok these days! And that was an interesting article…I don’t have any plans to get pregnant right now, but I’ll definitely be filing it away if I’m having issues with it later in life.
Aren’t you totally digging the headbands more now that they can hold their head up??? Before it was just a decoration on a little slug but now it’s an accessory on a PERSON
ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!
So glad to hear your mom is doing well! I bet she’s going to have love having the girls keep her company. Yep, totally over the winter thing. I’m pretty much over it by January 1st every year!
I LOVE the big bows on little girls, they’re just so precious!
Aww I’m sorry your mom is still in pain, I can’t even imagine how rough this has been for her! And I’m with you, I’m over this whole winter thing

Happy Friday & have a great weekend!
Enjoy Sat with your mum!!! Happy Friday!
I liked the article that you and Ashley posted, but I think it can make some women who are dealing with infertility feel bad, like we are the cause of it.
Glad to hear your mom is doing better! And I cannot believe they are already that big either. Time is just flying!
I’m definitely done with Winter. I like mild weather and while I’m not looking forward to Summer, I’m definitely ready for Spring.
Just wanted to say that I love that you are posting more! I always check your blog and I love seeing new posts up. From a fellow teacher, have a great weekend!
Bows for girls are too stinkin cute - never can have too many!! Glad to hear your mom is doing better - we ended up having school ONLY on Friday last week - not excited to see when/how we are gonna make those up!
