meals for the week 1.3-1.9

Happy Monday! The day has come – back to work I go! 😉 I had such a fun two weeks off with the girls, but I’m excited to see my students again and see how their breaks were.

I didn’t take any pictures at all this weekend, but it was a fun one. On Friday night I went to see Unbroken with a few friends – I haven’t read the book but now I think I’m going to have to. The movie was incredible. I strongly urge you to go see it if you haven’t yet seen it! Saturday was spent mostly at home getting some chores done and playing with the girls until we went out to dinner with my mom later on in the evening. Yesterday was spent at home because we FINALLY got some snow (and are getting more tonight – woohoo!). All in all, great weekend!

I had to step up on my meal planning game this week because the last two weeks have been lacking in that department. Gone are the indulgent holiday meals – back to meal plans and grocery shopping.

Saturday – out for pizza

Sunday – BLT’s, Alexia fries, broccoli

Monday – fish tacos (based loosely off of this recipe)

Tuesday – turkey burgers & roasted veggies

Wednesday – sweet potato hash & eggs

Thursday – take out

Friday – BBQ Chicken chopped salads

I’m trying to type quickly this evening (Sunday) because in a few minutes the season premiere of Downton Abbey will be on – I need to give it my full attention! Have a great Monday everyone!
