pb&j greek yogurt

December 3, 2010

It’s official – every single last one of you rock. my. world.

It’s true. After last night’s post as I was shaking to hit “publish”, I knew you all would not disappoint me.

So, this calls for a celebration.

Red Pumps – nothing less of fierce, which I surely am not.

And that snack you were asking about?

December 2, 2010 013

I’m so sorry to have teased you…

December 2, 2010 012

But I’m going to have to wait until tomorrow to tell you what it is.

Instead, I’m going to show you more picture of my peep toe heels.

Who do you think I am? That would just be cruel and unusual punishment.

PB&J Greek Yogurt

  • 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp. peanut flour
  • 1 tbsp. blackberry preserves (or jelly of choice)
  • 1 tbsp. whole golden flax seeds

Mix greek yogurt & peanut flour together in a small bowl. Top with preserves of your choice & flax seeds.

Obviously the possibilities are endless here, and I’m sure if I didn’t get a stomachache from the yogurt I would eat it more frequently.

Sometimes, you just have to take one for the team.

Which is what my feet are currently doing.

Question: What is your favorite pair of shoes? OR What is your favorite way to eat Greek yogurt (so I can secretly drool and wish my stomach could take it more than once a week)

Love the shoes! I need a good pair of “power pumps” lol : )
I love greek yogurt a million different ways. Lately, mixed with some pumpkin & protein powder has hit the spot! Soooo good!

I love greek yogurt all kinds of way. Right now I can’t stop eating plain greek yogurt mixed with jello pistachio pudding mix. Then topped with go lean crunch :)

My high heeled knee high boots…
Think more fashionista, less hooker!
I always feel super confident in them.
It’s amazing what a pair of shoes can do.

Oh my gosh I’m such a lamo. My favorite shoes are sneakers! Whenever I wear anything else (like heels all day at work) I am dreaming about my sneakers! I can’t wait to slide them on when I leave the office at the end of the day!
I wish I could impress you with a yoghurt comment, too (oops, Aussie spelling there) but I don’t eat it! D’oh!

I rarely wear heels – if I had to wear them all day, no way would I wear them out! My pups would hurt!

If I could walk in heels without being a danger to myself and those around me, I would so be wearing those right now.

I to wish I could eat yogurt. Ever. Any of it. Sigh.

Love the shoes! I’ve been eating greek yogurt with a spoonful of homemade strawberry jelly and a crumbled graham cracker… low-cal strawberry cheesecake :)

I’m so lame when it comes to shoes and always go for “practicality” – not wanting to spend $$ on a pair I’ll only occasionally wear but you make these look too fun! :)

Cute pumps! My favourite shoes are my brown leather boots. Even when I’m feeling like a total slob, they make me feel more put together. :D

Aww that’s such a bummer that Greek yogurt still gives you problems. Have you ever tried goats milk yogurt?

Hey Chelsey,
I just found your blog and I added it to my blogroll. I just recently found out I’m gluten intolerant. I’m definitely going to be trying some of your recipes. They look good! This one in particular looks like something I would love for a dessert/post workout snack! Thanks! Nice to meet you! Awesome blog!

Greek yogurt with peaches and/or berries, almonds, & agave nectar! Every. Morning.

As for the shoes–fall is my favorite season, so of course, knee high flat boots :) They go with everything!

Chelsea, I love your recipes and blog! I’m a vegetarian and before I really emersed myself in clean eating, I was afraid it would be too bland. Not at all! THANK YOU for your creativity!
